Everyone seems to agree that Stockpile is a terrible game mode. Matches of Stockpile are always heavily unbalanced, with one team that is full of objective-minded players, and the other team that plays as if it were team slayer. There are also those super fun matches where players grab the seeds and just throw them off the map. This game mode is such a waste of time and I really believe, as do many others, that it needs to be shelved and put away forever. I encourage you to voice your opinion on this matter whether you agree or disagree.
Personally, I play BTB hoping that I get to play Capture the Flag. Even if I have a team of people who could care less about the objective, I can at least go the entire match having defended the flag by myself, as I have done many times; Win or Lose, capture the flag is a lot of fun.
Stockpile on the other hand is just a huge waste of time, and frankly, lately it’s becoming infuriating getting thrown into one of those matches. In almost every match of Stockpile that I play, there is someone complaining about how much the mode sucks. This is not something that I see for any of the other multiplayer modes.
I’m not asking that Stockpile be changed, updated, balanced, or otherwise modified. I am asking that this terrible game mode be completely removed. And if not removed, then it should be removed from BTB so that anyone who wants to play it can choose it outright. I really wish that was the case for Capture the Flag, as I would play that all day. However I don’t mind playing BTB Slayer, or BTB Total Control, because those are fun where Stockpile is not. Again, curious to hear what other peoples thoughts are about that mode.
