Hi my name is Jeremy. I recently bought the new halo 5 for my Xbox one. First off, I would like to say I am a huge fan of the game since it first came out on Xbox. I’ve collected all the games as a collection as it was a great game in the PAST. now however I am utterly disappointed with halo 5 and I hope the Devs can see this thread to know that many people are really disappointed as well.
the feature that made halo the no.1 game was that it could split screen with friends on a single Xbox. My friends and family could just come down to my home and play tgt. In halo 4, u removed firefight and the ability to play as an elite. I accepted this as I hoped the Devs would bring something more interesting in halo 5. However in halo 5, there is no split screen, no firefight. As I am an offline player is 343 trying to tell it’s customers that the only thing playable is the campaign??? This is total BS. I have to pay for an Xbox live which is 20 USD a month, just to play with my friends??? So those people who become dad’s or who have other commitments can’t play with friends at home, do we have to spend such money on something as useless as a live account when the money can be spent better?? Has Microsoft become so money minded? Does 343 stand for 3 steps forward and 43 steps backward?? I cannot express how disappointed and upset I am that halo has sunk so far. Telling customers that split screen can’t be played due to lag issues is a sore excuse for a next gen and powerful console which Microsoft claims the Xbox one is.
I sincerely hope the Devs see this msg and improve halo 6 to a quality that all its fans expect to see. Pls add firefight and split screen again. These two features are what offline players like me enjoyed on the 360. If 343 continues to remove features, they would lose many customers. This is my personal opinion.
