Petition to fix warzone bosses

I’ve lost several games due to the enemy team just shooting the boss at the last second and getting the kill at the last second. Me and my friend have came up with a fix. Who ever does the most % of damage.

Sounds unbalanced as -Yoink!-…your team goes and does 80% dmg then leaves the boss as bait for the other team to kill it and you win? yeah no…

1.) Find a better way to do teamwork to prevent That happening, warzone is all about teamwork.
2.) You cannot make petitions.
3.) You have to Plan and coordinate how you’re team will win.
stop Whining about the bosses they are fine the way they are, just come up with different strategies my friend

this makes the most sense to me since i tend to lose a lot of matches due to this

What if the actual kill is worth 60 points, and then once the boss is dead, it drops something similar to dog tags where it was killed. Those tags are worth the remaining 90 points. Preventing your team from surrounding the boss, doing 99% of the damage, and than losing not JUST the majority of the points, but all of the points. So you lose 60 points but one of your teammates can very easily walk over to the boss and pick up its tags without a threat.

Change you title OP. Petitions aren’t allowed on the forums…

So then in your scenario, it’ll just be the first team to do 51+% of the damage? That doesn’t sound right…

I think the best method would be to give every boss a health bar, one for Red team, and one for blue team. You can see both health bars, but you will only be affecting the health bar correlated to your team color. Super simple and fair system for bosses. Seeing both health bars for each team will also make the battles more hectic because if a team is behind on damage, they will have to shift focus and kill the opposing team, etc

Why not just simplify it? Use damage %, but allow bosses to regen health unless they receive sustained damage. That’ll keep teams from ‘baiting’ with almost-dead AI.

The idea of the boss dropping something is pretty neat, but only for like legendary bosses.

Killing the boss only rewards point base damage, essentially both teams will be rewarded points depending on the damage they dealt it. 100hp = 100 points.

After killing the boss it will drop a core or something that both teams will have to fight for and then carry it to a specific location to score for additional points. Essentially becoming capture the flag after killing the boss.

Bosses are fine where they are.

What’s the alternative?

I hear a lot of people saying that the team with the most damage on it should get the kill, but then you’d still have people that were angry…

No they really aren’t. If you really think one team doing 95% of the damage, and then 1 guy on the other team sprints in range and snipes the last sliver of health to get the kill is fine, then I don’t even know what to say

I don’t think you need to fix it.

Like I said above, the best method would be to give each boss two health bars of equal value (one for red team and one for blue team). Every player can see both health bars, but your shots will only affect the health bar for your team. The team that does all the damage first wins the boss kill. This would introduce interesting boss fight strats that would require you to shift focus to the enemy team if your team is behind on damage, or if your team is ahead in damage, you’d need to keep focusing on DPS on the boss

you guys must not play SMITE OR LEAGUE OF LEGENDS! it is part of the game! and it is supposed to happen that way. don’t attack the boss early and try to steal from the enemy because they did most of the work. it is a legitimate strategy and gameplay mechanic

Thank you, tired of these “I lost the game because the enemy team played around the current mechanics better, please fix the game so i can win cuz i did more damage” posts…
