I am not an avid fan of firefight, but whenever my son wants to play halo he loves playing Firefight with me. I hope there will be enough people to request this that 343 will reconsider. I am loving spartan ops as well but with firefight, it will make the game a more complete one.
Also, I miss unlocking skulls from Halo 3. That would have been an awesome feature as well for the campaign.
Unless Firefight gets dedicated explorable maps a la CoD’s zombie mode, it’s a boring mode and a waste of developer time.
I never found firefight to be boring, and the developers dont need to do too much as mapas are already available.
They worked really hard on making Spartan Ops. They are not putting in Firefight.

There maybe a rule in place about petitions, but, Im sure there are firefight fans out there that feel the same way as I do. Besides, it is still free to wish isnt it?
I don’t know why they replaced Firefight with Spartan Ops to be honest… Spartan Ops feels like 10 minutes of me using power weapons on the same maps every week. I wish ODST’s firefight had matchmaking, and I hope Halo 5 will have Firefight instead of these Spartan Ops.

Spartan Ops was to be an extension of the campaign. The only thing I find off set about Spartan Ops is the XP scaling. I get considerably less in war games than I do for nuking grunts.

I have been here since 2011 and if I cant make them, neither can you. Change the title. I had something like 44days in FF. I wish for it, but dont make petitions about it.
I will bet my copy of Halo4 FireFight will return for Halo5.

Until the major LAG issues are dealt with, I would say hold out until the problems are fixed before adding new stuff.
If they upgrade Firefight to include huge vehicle battles like they did in Episode 3 of Spartan Ops, then I’d love to have it back.
Agreed the lag in Spartan Ops when you team up with 3 friends is just insane, such slow down can kill the experience
As for Fire Fight…hated it, was so naff by the end of Reach’s time that I was so pleased 343i decided to let it stay in the Bungie past
I would hate to see it return, Spartan Ops is the future, and hopefully they can get the lag/slowdown sorted out
God Firefight was so bad. I’m happy that Spartan Ops at least tell a story.
Personally if I wanted to kill thousands of AIs id just play campaign over and over again.

Um spartan ops is basically firefight. Except interesting.
I never played firfight. It was dull and boring,
Spartan ops does the same crap. Gives you a story to follow and much nicer toys to play with. Not to mention it has had 15 variations so far with another 10 to come in this series. AND it has funny Red vs blue easter eggs.
