Honestly, me and a large margin of the halo community who excel at utilizing ALL of the weapons feel that restricting the game to a certain amount of weapons waters down the gameplay greatly. It’s basically turning it into call of duty in a way, except with shields.

Therefore, a separate tournament should be created for an MLG mode that resembles normal gameplay of Halo.

This would allow players to compete in the way that it was meant to be played.

I just feel the Pro Circuit should implement this for at least one tournament and see how it goes; I seriously believe it could attract a truly massive audience that would certainly dwarf a lot of other tournaments.

Also, honestly guys who are against this, it doesn’t hurt you at all and it will only bring more attention and diversity to the MLG community. Which is good.

Oh wow, for a second there I thought you were just gonna rant about how “Halo” is tapping the left thumbstick left and right while firing the BR and getting rid of all other weapons and was gonna respond how the variety in weapons and gametypes is what makes Halo truely great.

I’ve actually been thinking about posting on that other “MLG” forum and getting thoughts on it, experiment with the weapons and create new gametypes that favours all weapons and AAs. But not many people will listen once I state that turning off headshots balances out the overall sandbox.
