Not sure if any of you feel the same but one of my biggest pet peeves is drop in/drop out multiplayer. I understand the need for it if half your teammates drop out. However, is it so hard to put an option to disable drop in/drop out? Let people who don’t mind it leave it active but let people who dislike it turn it off. I just hate using an RP/XP boost to drop into a firefight game or whatever on round 4. Ok, end of my mini rant lol.
It is disabled for everyone in the arena (and we can all see how that works). In social playlists no one should be let off the hook just because they don’t like it. I assume that the system is more likely to burden frequent quitters with join-in-progress matches and that’s as it should be. But just as you wouldn’t want to play half a warzone match with half a team then so you have to put up with the occasional mid-game join. Halo giveth with one hand and Halo taketh away with the other. If you feel like you’re being unfairly singled out then that’s one thing, but it’s hard to argue against the principle behind full participation.
I’m not saying it’s a bad feature. I understand the need for it. I just wish they’d implement an option to turn it off for people who don’t want to join into a game in progress. Let the people decide whether or not they can join into a game in progress or a new game.

The only problem with that is every body that takes the game seriously would turn it off. Everyone that knows about the feature or opens their menu once would turn it off.

Boosts for JIP games get returned to you if you lose, so this should be a non-issue.
Yeah it’s annoying. But gamers have been dealing with it since multiplayer started. I think we can STILL deal with it.

I wasn’t aware of that. Thanks. But for games you win/complete it still gets used?
When there that one kid on the mic that pretends that he’s good. Then when you totally own him, he blames his poor skills on other people
