Perspective Preference Option

I would like the default to be like usual Halo games.
By this I mean, when doing the following, you enter a 3rd person perspective:
-Holding or using a turret.
-Riding in any seat of the vehicle.
-Using certain Armor Abilities.
-Dieing (Not sure if spelt correctly.)
But otherwise, you are in a 1st person perspective.

In Halo 4, I would like for players to have the option to constantly remain in the 1st person perspective.
Whether that be in Customs and Forge only, or in Multiplayer as well.

I understand why implementing this into Multiplayer is unlikely.
But this is perfectly acceptable in Customs and Forge, and maybe Spartan Ops as well.
I’m sure that any player can agree with me here.

(Note)
Inside of Scorpions, Wraiths, and Banshees, there are small screens that allow the operator to see with.

I don’t see why you’d want it, Third Person stops you getting assassinated when using turrets and boarded when in vehicles.

I would love to see this option, however, it’s likely way too late to be able to implement into Halo 4. Maybe in Halo 5!

Also, it’s “dying”.

Agreed. But it’s never to late to add a “Future Halo” section of the forums :D.

Thats what radar is for.

When using the 1st Person Preference, you gain a more enjoyable experience.
But you lose your efficiency in battle.

So I’d be fine with it.
Especially considering that I’ll likely finish positive either way.

Yeah with the banshee and mongoose I would really like to see that.

Nah. Sometimes seeing your Spartan makes getting those armor permutations worthwhile.
