I’m sure this has been brought up in the past but who else would like to have their own personalized collectible figure?
This would be awesome but way to expensive to achieve. I was able to put together my halo reach armor by using the different armor packs and stuff from the mcfarlane sets. They have all sorts of stuff out now!
I would love it as a fan of collectibles. But yeah, unless you can get some serious volume you’re looking at a $75-$100 figure.
I also think the McFarlane toys are massively disappointing. The Gears ones from Neca are leagues better.
Although I just got the 14" Jada Toys die-cast Warthog and it’s awesome!
I made my Reach spartan, I’ll probably do the same with H4.
You just buy up various spartans that are wearing your armor peices, curl them up into a ball, put them in a microwavable bowl full of water (make sure the entire figure stays under water), and microwave it until the water gets real hot without boiling. Remove the figure (it’ll be hot, be careful) and then you can just gently pull all the limbs off and plug in new ones while everything is still hot. This is because the limbs plug into the torso using tiny rubber ball joints. Heat them up enough and they’re much more squishy.
Some armor pieces will need to be gently pulled off (as they are superglued in place) and then re-glued onto the new figure.
It was surprisingly easy and I was very fortunate to find spartans with all my armor pieces in the same color so I didn’t have to paint anything.

that may be expensive but it would be cool to have a personalized poster or wallpaper with costumizable backround and your spartan.
I dont see why not, they could just make the pieces ahead of time and then people online can pick from a list of options;
Head, shoulders, torso… of coarse not everything would be available like feet and maybe a few arms.
Then just pick the paint job and pay. They ship via mail and you get your very own custom Spartan.

WoW does do this, although they provide figurines. Fully cusomtizable action figures would likely be very pricey, as the WoW ones are already $130, but the poseability factor would be outstanding.
i would sacrifice pose-ability for something on the lines of a position from a screen shot you provide such as an assassination. Now you have 2 Spartans.

Make them poseable enough and you can set up the assassination yourself.
I would sacrifice poseability and settle for a little Spartan statuette if we can have someone getting an energy sword driven through them from behind. A bit graphically violent? Maybe. But the more detail put into the wound, the mroe people would likely be willing to pay.

I have a handful in my gamer room. When my friends come over they always laugh at how I have them set up in a new scene. Right now I have a Spartan dragging an injured spartan, while one fights off a T. Rex.
I have been waiting for a halo customizable figure since halo 3 and I think that it would be an amazing thing to release
Would’ve spent lots of money for one back in Halo 3 days.

Would spend EVERYTHING for a custom Halo 4 figure (12 inch, 8 inch, 6 inch, LEGO SIZED, I DON’T CARE!)
Customize them online with their own weapons and stuff… yeah, that’d be cool, but hey, I’d get it.

Biggest necropost I’ve seen in a while.
Got a buddy of mine who basically did this. We’re in a Halo RP based on ODSTs, and he basically recreated the squad to the best of his ability. He’s so proud of the one he uses for his character. It’s got Emile’s thermite canisters across the chestplate and Jorge’s head with a bandana wrapped around its head and an eyepatch. Not to mention his bright yellow smiley face slapped on his chestplate.
He made his stuff using the figures from the various games, from Halo 3, ODST, and Reach.
