I notice in some multiplayer matches I’d hear BUTLR’s voice when I don’t even have him set as my personal A.I. I use Superintendent’s voice. I started noticing it back in season 1 but it would usually be taken care quickly after the 2nd match but since the later days of the Winter Update, I almost never hear Superintendent and only BUTLR despite not choosing him. Anyone know if that’s being looked into?

For some reason it likes to default back to butler at random. Not entirely sure what triggers this, and sometimes you’ll get stuck with him for several matches in a row.

Been like that since Day 1, don’t know why it still hasn’t been fixed unless nobody has been submitting tickets

If I had to guess, they haven’t fixed it because it’s ultimately minor. When there are big scale bugs (like desync or even SBMM), they are prioritizing those, rather than looking for the problem and then fixing this one.
I’ve had the exact same problem. Its really annoying to get a kill and expect to hear Lumu and here boring old butler instead.
This glitch has been here since launch, but it’s become much more common since the winter update. Now I have butlr for almost 50% of my games despite mainly using circ.
I personally like Butlr, so this glitch does not affect me. However, I have seen it affect others and I can only cross my fingers that it does get fixed. The best we can do is ensure 343i knows of any glitches and wait.
