Permenant ODST slayer

Hey 343 can we keep odst slayer as a constant social arena playlist or even better but far fetched make it a part of ranked arena

if their planning on keeping it, it won’t be ranked

If it gets enough traffic and does not dwindle in popularity before its rotation ends, then perhaps 343 will consider making it permanent.

I’ve been playing it a lot lately because of the XP buff, but to me it’s not really “Halo.” If you have no shields, no radar, and a super fast TTK you might as well be playing CoD or something.

I do like the no ground pound/spartan charge though. A lot.

this happens all the time, there is a new rotational playlist, then somebody create a post saying “please do permanent”, right now Halo must have few playlists, is hard to find a match because there is a lot of playlists

yes but i subjectivly feel that this playlist is better than a couple on offer

It definitely amplifies connection issues. I tried to play it but my not amazing rural internet made it impossible. The quick time to kill made it impossible to overcome Lag issues.

weirdly enough as a Aussie player with horrendous ping to us servers I find swat my favorite game type , so I would have thought the odst settings would have been the perfect middle ground between standard settings and swat settings .

More shots to get killed equals more time to react. Swat is ok too as it’s one shot kill. If someone got the drop on me I’d be dead anyway.

The in-between nature of ODST slayer and breakout 1.0 is oddly the biggest issue for me.

My Kda seems the same across all the settings but I’m so inconsistent that sometimes it’s lag most of the time it’s me :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

This is just my own uneducated observation, no hard data or anything.

My issues just felt more pronounced in ODST. I know I had some seriously bad games where I had shots on me before I even noticed, so it seemed like I was being one-shot killed.

Would be nice for permanent playlist, plus it would help players get smg kills easier for the commendation
