Permanently Banned from Matchmaking!! HELP!

Hello, My Name is Drake and my XboxLIVE gamertag is Sleepicity. I just recently (about 8 minutes ago.) Got banned from Halo: Reach Match Making. The reason being? I have friends and other players come up with the Theory: When a player is playing 30+ games on Halo: Reach, and alot of the players quit-out mid game, If this happens too often, then the follow player who is on the winning side can get banned, due to the game security thinking that they are cheating their wins and forcing people offline, Disconnecting them, etc. Now, I am a fair player, and this summer, roughly in mid-June. I was banned from the game, but it stated, “for 1 week.” Fast forward to the present, and message appears randomly with, “The following Xbox 360 console has been banned from Halo: Reach Matchmaking Permanently” If the theory of the quitting players is true, I can assure and promise that I have never cheated my wins, and/or forced a player offline in order to obtain a free win. I play daily and go on large win streaks, and some players quit out because they arent on our skill level or they dont want to throw their controller at their TV’s in rage. I don’t know why they quit, but those are examples from my experience. If this is the case and I am permanently banned due to my skill and teamwork with my friends on xbox, is this possible to remove? I have already had to start over a new account once, and I was currently on my way up the leader board of my favorite game type in Halo: Reach, and trying so hard to do so. I have been playing Reach since it was released on September 10, of 2010 and I have loved it ever since. I am 16, and spend my free time playing Halo: Reach and have always had alot of skill, I was once ranked the #1 Reach player in my state, I am currently ranked top 100th in the World for my favorite playlist, and All I wish to do, is play my favorite Game, and keep getting higher on the leader board, before the new systems come out and be able to say, I was one of the best players in the World, on my favorite Game.
Lastly, I don’t know if this ban is reversible, but if it is, Please help me out. You can evaluate my games, or do what you need to do, but I would immensely appreciate it, if I could get this ban reversed.

Please get back to me at your earliest convenience and let me know what you can do.
Thank You for reading,
-Sleepicity

Sorry, but there is really nothing that can be done to reverse this ban. After all, it is permanent.

Besides, something more than just simply wins would cause a console to be banned. If it really was your exceeding amount of wins that got you banned (which it’s probably not), only that account would be banned.

You don’t get banned for being “too good.” Permanent bans are usually for things like cheating and network manipulation.

Pretty much what snickerdoodle said. As far as I know, being “too good” may result in those you’ve defeated falsely reporting you, but you won’t get in trouble for that.

However, the system could have mistook you for a Lag-Switch or any other form of network manipulation. So regardless of whether you are innocent or not, you’ve been banned - and sadly, not even Microsoft themselves have the liberty to reverse it.

343i’s parent company Microsoft don’t even explain why when they ban Xbox Live accounts so why would 343i be any different?

If you aren’t banned from matchmaking on other games you enjoy play those games instead.

The banhammers are garbage, I’ve had friends quit Halo after having the misfortune of matching modders and getting matchmaking bans.

Player hosted games are plagued by issues and I’ve no doubt 343i’s inability to deal with them is part of the reason they’re moving to dedicated servers for the next Halo.

This isn’t a 343i issue only, Bungie’s banhammer also -Yoinked!- up and banned innocent people occasionally.

Bans are automated for legitimate reasons and are non-reversable. I’m afraid you will just have to make a new account if you wish to keep playing.

And for the record, Halo Reach was released September 14th 2010, not September 10th
