Permanent unlocks from daily wins?

After playing Arena today, I got my daily login pack and my Arena win pack, and all of a sudden, a permanent unlock for a chest piece popped up. I was shocked when I saw this and then I thought that maybe my Spartan Company may have gotten another master comendation completed, then when I checked, we haven’t completed anything at all. I thought I was losing my mind, so I went and played Warzone Assault and I read the description and the rewards it gives you just to make sue that this was the Warzone daily win pack. So I opened it, and a “Appetite for Destruction” certification popped up and I was beyond shocked.

Has 343i secretly updated these packs to give us a permanent unlock from daily wins now, or has this always been here and I never realized?

It’s always been a feature, but it’s so ridiculously rare that you could never get one.

I’m not sure, maybe.

I got my first permanent unlock from a Daily Login pack a couple of days ago - a Ghost Ultra certification.

I got two today, I have never even known you could get one, but somehow I got two.

I got Emile’s helmet from a Daily Login pack. That happen to anyone else?

I think it’s been possible since their introduction. Thing is, it almost never happens.

I initially thought 343 just gave that helmet out to everyone, since i never get lucky with those reqs. But hey, lucky me i guess. It would have probably taken me a year to get that thing haha
