So i just read you can’t drop out of onyx only champion , so if you make it in to onyx does that mean your gurneteed to be there for the whole season ? Even if you loose a lot of games?
I don’t think the ranking system works like that.
It thought you can’t drop tiers ? Only tier levels ? Someone correct me please if I’m wrong

I have been looking everywhere for a definitive answer to the same question. While I am nowhere near Onyx in any playlist where I have completed the 10 play in games, my hope for Onyx in SWAT remains.
My guess is you stay in Onyx - as Champion just seems to be the highest Onyx tier level. So basically you can think of Onyx having only 2 tier levels [Onyx and Champion]. Except - unlike levels in the lower tiers - you can drop a out of the Champion “tier level” because someone else played well, not just you doing poorly.
Can you pass along where you read that you can’t drop out of onyx.
