Permanant DLC Playlist. We need one.

I can only assume that this topic has been covered many, many times. But because of the continued absence of said playlist, I can only hope that persistence is the last hope I have.

Myself and many others have paid GOOD MONEY for the DLC, personally, I have bought them all. And yet, it is nearly impossible to get into games with DLC maps in them, because we are still using Reach’s matchmaking algorithm.

“Do all players have DLC? If yes, offer it in the vote. If no, standard maps only.”

I don’t think I need to explain why this is a horrible way to do DLC matchmaking. I have literally never once played DLC in standard playlists.

All I want, and I’m sure many others want, is a DLC required Team Slayer playlist that mixes all the maps together. It would be really nice if this playlist’s CSR and standard Team Slayer CSR were the same value.

If we don’t get this playlist, I’m going to assume that Halo 5 will be the same as H4 and Reach were, and will not be buying any DLC from 343i from now on.

In a way yes, I want a permanent playlist for dlc. But look at the population numbers when it was out, barely anyone played it and there was no normal team slayer or legendary. I have seen numbers drop on reach when they release a dlc playlist after a certain amount of time. Maybe in the next halo for now it won’t happen.

It was doing similar numbers compared to Grifball, Ricochet, and Rumble Pit. Should those be removed for having few people?

Also, gametypes can be added in playlist updates, if 343 actually took the time and think some of it through.

For the record I hate the DLC, I really do.
That being said, yes there should be 2 permanent DLC only playlists, one for 4v4 (Smaller maps) and one for 8v8 (Larger maps).

People don’t buy the maps so that they can play them in customs, they buy them so they can play them with their friends in matchmaking. 343 seems to ignore the social aspects of the previous Halo titles.

I vote yes on DLC only playlists, as long as they keep the others the way they are.

I get what your saying, But that discussion is for another topic.
