banning the router is useless but banning there modem is something better but then you still have some privacy rule’s you are dealing with both of the idea’s.
banning there concole is good i am for that idea 100% but if its going to happing i not know but its good working if there are cheaters on the concole.
for the PC i not know if you get also some problems with the privacy rule’s there are in some country’s.
and we both know that the cheating problem on pc in the main general point is not going to stop and not when there are F2P game’s.
Totally agree in what your saying I’ve given up with all multiplayer and this is not a dig at all at HALO I love halo been a big part of my gaming. But multiplayer has had a massive in flux off cheating I used to play alot off COD please don’t hate me lol… Its full off people using the chronus zen and I’m tired of it I’m a grizzled ancient now and I’m not as good a player as I use to be but when ya fighting a device like the chronus you have no chance. Lag issues have resulted in a lot of similar encounters, even in custom games, where character animation is heavily desynced. I had apparently been boarded by a friend once. And as he saw on his screen that he was kicking me off the Mongoose, I had actually gotten off as he approached, knowing he would try to board. So he would instead get in the seat and I would slash him with my sword.
He also ran me over on his screen, only for me to have grapple-boarded his warthog.
As for the rocket thing? Splash damage is REALLY suffering from Desync. Im 10 feet from a rocket blast? Sure, my shields are gone now ! I’m point blank with a guy with a rocket, going in for a hammer-kill? His rocket kills me and somehow he is still alive?
I noticed this early on when Halo Infinite was in the Insider period, where I could aim a rocket at my feet and blow up my shields to save me form a Spartan with an energy sword going in for the lunge. At first I thought they reduced how much damage you apply to yourself and your teammates, since I saw a LOT of players running into my explosives and not getting damaged… … now I know it is just desync causing MASSIVE issues to all things with splash-damage.
I once thought this one guy was cheating in Fiesta because he survived a Skewer.
I was behind the guy and blasted him with my Skewer, he was distracted so he was standing kinda still trying to line up a sniper shot.
MY SKEWER SHOT STUCK TO HIM LIKE A DART ON A DARTBOARD AND WAS GLOWING BRIGHT YELLOW !!
After a second of me going " WTH? ", I shot him again… … same result. The guy barely flinched, still trying to snipe. I shoot him a third time to show my buddy who appraoched. He was confused too. And then he walked up to the guy and back-slapped him.

that halo infinite has a cheating problem was something a lot off people have told before all its going to end that way.
since F2P game’s are a good formule but the bad dark effect from it is that you get a cheating problem.
and its something some communety members few years ago not wane see since the proof with Warzone was showing the right thing about F2P formule that you get a cheating problem.
there is 1 thing most off the communety have agree on.
if there add the crosplay function it most become a option since all lot off concole players not wane play with pc players since the high risk off cheating.

and also yesterday the new anti cheating software from Warzone also has become old crap since hackers have found out the code from it and update there cheating software to bypass it.
so banning then has no use and good anti software is there not.
But they do tell the devs some sort of feedback sometimes… other times the threads can get annoying, like with how some brainlets are asking for The Mangler to be nerfed

I was given this, I was also ‘given’ no HUD at all several times on BTB.
If you were shot by 2 other people at the same time, their combined shots wouldn’t have been enough damage for an assist so wouldn’t have shown, it’s a possibility and if you checked theatre then that won’t help at all.
In theatre, I’ve been shown firing and meleeing at the same time, I’ve also been shown with no head at all in theatre.
I’ve made rockets completely disappear by using a repulsor that apparently have a disapperer function (THE SECOND ROCKET) - want proof? and this wasn’t theatre, this was a clip -

(There’s a chance the explosion behind him was the rocket but there was no sign of it travelling or being repulsed, I think it may have been a nade from teammate above and behind me, but the more I watch it the more I think just no trail, and I thought I had ajother nade, don’t judge my reticle placement, judge my memory )

In theatre? Well, it’s theatre - remember I had no head. In game? Did you record it? It’s very easy, record what happened, go to the app, get a link, post it here, I did it above, it’s easy.
On PC? Well you’ll figure it out, you use a typewriter to play games so you can do anything (but you want to stop crossplay so sounds like you’re Xbox) (oh speaking of Xbox - search for modded controllers, you’ve been playing against the good ones for over 6 years, can even get from the big shop in the rainforest owned by the rocket man so switching crossplay won’t eradicate it).

I’m saying you can not use theatre or anything you’ve seen in game to PROVE cheating with its current state.
‘Red bar’ also causes a lot of hacking accusations.
I will add as a lot of people don’t know this - once you’re dead and been shown the ‘killed by’ screen. Above their name is their current shield and health bars so you know how much damage they’ve taken - helps explain when they’ve been ‘red-barred’. I get as many stupid kills as I get stupidly killed. I’ve only been certain once of deliberate cheating and I was laughing so hard I forgot to record it and theatre wasn’t enough proof on its own because everyone wall hacks according to theatre. I even wrote a post here
