Part 3 of my analysis series
Quote from Article
There were two extra slots in Halo 4, however - these were filled with small enhancements. (I’m not sure what to call them; I hate the idea of calling them ‘perks’, because that immediately makes people think of them as Call of Duty-style bonuses. I don’t think this is a very accurate representation.) The ones we saw seemed to give some subtle increases to existing features - one allowed your health to regenerate just a bit faster than the default, for example, and another gave you an extra ammo clip on spawn. One gives you an extra grenade. And so on.
Three perks - Extra regen, Extra Grenade, Extra Ammo Clip
Extra regen allows your health to regenerate faster

Until 343 says it’s in, it’s not confirmed.

I know that, but again. Until 343 says that perks are in, it’s not confirmed. It could change.

Whatever…but in my eyes, it’s confirmed
one word for all of you:BETA.
These are such minor upgrades that I have no problem with perks like this in the game.
> one word for all of you:BETA.
Why would they add something in the beta, when it is not going to be in the game…
> These are such minor upgrades that I have no problem with perks like this in the game.
Exactly
Perks in CoD - 2004
Perks in Halo - 2012
Shame they only lasted 8 years before submitting to mainstream ideals to increase sales.
> These are such minor upgrades that I have no problem with perks like this in the game.
Bingo. They are not huge changes, and won’t affect the game too much.
The article you are quoting did not want to use the word perks, so why do you? Why dont you put your analyse in on topic? And we dont really need threads like this, the community is freaking out enough allready

I almost shattered my glass desk.

It is a perk, though. If he would have posted “Minor Adjustments” instead of perks, no one will even click this topic

I’m sorry but being a hipster isn’t good for business. Some times things are mainstream because they are good.
Same thing as AAs, they can be very good if they are balanced and all.
Am I actually one of the few around here that are actually ok with those kinds of things? They don’t really effect much really ingame…
modifications is what there called. according to what ive read.
