Perks align with Canon

For all the uproar about the perks system, dramatic memory lapses abound from the community. First off if as a community we espouse that we are all about Halo and yet have never read or forget key points from the books. At various times in each of the novels and even in Reach(this was fulfilled in customization descriptions and less in application) how they described Jorge as Heavy Weapon, Emile CQB, JUN Sniper. The short story/motion comic Headhunters is another example of a perk type class Assasin.

Living Spartan II classes given in short desciptions
Linda-Sniper
Fred-CQB
Kelly-Scout

Positive about perks and customization.
-The realism involved in creating Spartan to your play style. If you are an excellent sniper imagine being able to apply cloak, and variations to your armor that allow for increased accuarcy, damage and distance. Envision Linda from First Strike sniping covenant out of Banshees (impossible we spent many hours trying in H2 and H3)

-Truly unique vs. aestetic. Would you prefer your spartan look how you want or look and respond how they were built?

-Clan and competitive can be rebuilt. Play with friends and clans can be fully realized in a Halo enviroment with teams being built by their need and skill vs i’m getting rockets and you get sniper.

Negatives-
-We are stuck with Reach like perks. We all know these were hit and miss. I only use sprint (WALKING LIKE A SNAIL IS NOT MY THING)
-Lack of playtesting or a beta is goin to once again give the community a dramatic learning curve.

Thanks.

Canon should never adversely affect gameplay. And yes, these stupid -Yoinking!- perks will make the game worse.

Said at another thread, 'm saying it here again, seems they ruined the Arena MP type that Halo always based to be, and are going towards Modern Shooter that we plenty have tons of them already.

No timed weapons respawn? Checked! Loadouts? Checked! Perks? Checked! Progression System? Checked!

call me crazy but if the perks affect how weapons work like damage and accuracy and such there will be an unimaginable unsurge in people killing people for guns, lil kids and even grown men have consistently killed me for weapons in games because they think they are mlgproz with it, if you add a mechanic to the game that changes they way this things play and some one happens to get the gun first, look the F out

Snipers have zero spread and should always be one shot kill to the head. Always. Also Reach proved camo at will is a bad idea. Sorry, I know it was only an example, but it was a bad one.
