Performance Issues

So Far the Halo infinite technical preview is Good haven’t noticed a lot of Bugs in the Gameplay except the end screen looking a little goofy at times and the audio bugging out sometimes and Catching an AI having a gunfight with the floor but nothing that stopped the gameplay and overall has been a good experience.
But
While joining my friend we came into a few problems when sometimes when you join a game together one of you will get kicked not a massive issue but still one nonetheless.
another problem is the FPS I don’t know why but I’ve tried many different things and my fps still hovers around 40-50 running low or ultra and to get a stable high fps my game has to look like a potato This is odd because my pc by no means is bad The specs are listed here.

RTX 2060 6GB
Ryzen 3 3300x 4.4GHZ
16Gb ddr4 3000mhz
and running the game of a Patriot Burst Elite SSD

and I can understand how the low core count of the CPU Can affect it but is there any way I can take the strain of it?

Nvm If you are reading this and found yourself in this thread I fixed the Bad Fps. This may work for you it may not at first I tried to use (-novid -tickrate 128 -high +fps_max 144 +cl_showfps 0 +cl_interp 0 +cl_interp_ratio 1 +rate 128000 +cl_updaterate 128 +cl_cmdrate 128 +mat_queue_mode 2 -freq 144 -refresh 144 +cl_forcepreload 1 -nod3d9ex -nojoy) Launch options although this may have got me a couple more fps i didn’t see much difference so i went into my bios and slightly overclocked my CPU giving it more voltage to use and overclocked my memory to 3200MHZ now I can run it at 60-80 at most times. But still the optimization in the flight is not very good using a lot more of your CPU over your GPU as I found myself at times with 100% CPU usage and 13% GPU What is odd because My CPU shouldn’t bottleneck my GPU. (I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS TO SOMEONE WHO HAS NEVER OVERCLOCKED BEFORE)

The game is fixed, and it is amazing Being a game developer, I noticed a couple of issues with UVW maps not being Mapped properly and the UV stretching I noticed this in a couple of maps,it is no big deal, But back on the subject of this thread Now I get 60-80 FPS on ultra and get 100 on low although this is not The best it’s so good and I can now explore the beautiful environments of the map and see the classic art style in all of its glory. as the issue is now fixed can you please close the thread, Thanks you 343.
