When 343 added the 50+ points after every round to guarantee progression, it was a step in the right direction but still rather bare bones, and still leaves free players with a very long and painful grind to earn cosmetics, and my hope is to make grinding less painful without making it too easy.
My suggestion is to add daily challenges alongside the 50 point challange but make these ones performance based. Some challange ideas is:
- Win any round +50 points
- Get first place at end of any round +75 points
- Get second place at end of any round +50 points
- Get third place at end of any round+25 points
This system would allow an easier time grinding while not making it to fast, because the maximum amount of points you can receive in daily challanges were this to be implemented is 175 points which is still less than any weekly challange.
However the most important thing this would add is it would give players more motivation to do better personaly and make fight to ensure their teams victory knowing they will be rewarded for their overall skill.
