Performance based boosts and JIP warzone matches

I believe that performance based boosts such as “Victory” and “Gambit” should either have the option of being “de-selected” if you are placed into a match already in progress, or have this process occur automatically.

It’s really quite lame using an Ultra Rare or Legendary boost only to be placed into a match 3 minutes before it’s over and therefore making it essentially impossible to meet the criteria necessary to qualify for said boost.

On another slightly related note, has there been an explanation for the enormous disparity between Arena and Warzone boosts? I understand that since Warzone matches last, on average, about twice as long as Arena matches that their boosts should be more powerful…but Warzone boosts seem orders of magnitude better.

A rare Warzone RP boost is worth more than a legendary Arena boost. This doesn’t make sense and greatly frustrates players who prefer Arena.

This.

and about Warzone not being equal to Arena; Arena games are shorter, meaning you get less RP anyways. So if a boost is applied it would be boosting a smaller amount, if that makes sense…

Pro tip: Only pop the Warzone Boost when the “Deploying: 5… 4…” Countdown begins. You’ll have more than enough time to activate the right boost, and you’ll be guaranteed to not JIP. JIP games don’t have a Deploying Countdown.
