I played a game of CTF and got 17 kills with no deaths. The game ran down to time, but my team still won. Can you not get a perfection in CTF? The game is in my history. I was so excited when I got it. Now I have to try again. Has anyone else had this problem?
Also, if I did something wrong here, I’m new to forums, so don’t slay me please.
There is no perfection medal on Halo 4, I believe there is a commendation for it though.
Same problem, I’ve had 3 or 4 perfect matches but only got 1 in my commendation progress.
I went 18 and 0 in Dominion we won and i didnt kill any teammates. I didnt get anything, i have no progress in my commendations for it. This is getting pretty fustrating with all the challenges/commendations being glitched…

Perfection has always been a Slayer-only medal.
It don’t matter Perfections have never been awarded in CTF.

Thats on 343 if its a playlist specific then it should say so and be within the slayer commendations not under player or whatever it is which implies general matchmaking…

This is just common knowledge. The Perfection medal itself specifies that it must be in a Slayer gametype. Are you new to Halo?

We need a proper medals chest like what Bungie did for Halo 3 and Reach so we know what we still need to get, I have the guide book with them all listed but thats just a pain to keep going to.
Even in Halo 3 the Perfection medal was listed as Slayer only and people still made threads like this, the main ones I don’t understand why they got rid of are the weapon spree medals.
I whent 17 for 0 on infinity player and the medal was not awarded.
Despite what the description might say perfection is Slayer only. Also if the game goes to black screen ( selecting new host , lag etc.) anytime during the match it could cause you to not receive the commendation.
Edit# suicides and betrayals also break the commendation.
I believe it has to be slayer for you to get a perfection, even though it doesn’t actually specify as such. It is too easy to get 15+ kills without dying in objective types, just camp the flag or dominion base with a launcher and shotgun

There is no medal.
Only a commendation.
i had the complete opposite. my perfection commendation is higher then it should be. it was aw hile back so i dont remember exactly, but i was betrayed, suicided, or at 14. i just remember after the match thinking damn, so close. but got the point anyways.
