I played Super Fiesta last night and got a “perfection,” but didn’t get the medal. I thought that Fiesta was still Slayer. Anyone know what gives?
It has to be in a Slayer game type. Whether or not you win by slaying it is still a Super Fiesta game type. This medal has always been given in Team Slayer only.
I just figured it was still Slayer. Lesson learned! So does that mean that it cannot be earned in game variants like Swat?

Wrong, Super Fiesta is a Slayer Gametype the same as BTB Slayer, and SWAT. The voice announces Super Fiesta as “Slayer”.

Ah, I see the problem. You lost the game! A Perfection medal is awarded for a 100% perfect game. The criteria includes an untarnished score of 15-0 (kills-deaths) and your team winning otherwise the Pefection badge will not count. It sucks, and I’ve had it happen before as well.

After looking this up, and reading other posts from other threads, and from Halopedia the Perfection medal has only ever been awarded when playing a Team Slayer game. So I believe that this now means one can only earn this medal in the ranked Team Slayer or Team Arena that is a Slayer match.

That makes sense as well. Oh well, at least I got my heart rate up trying to get the perfection.

I never knew you had to win the match to get a perfection. All of my perfections (or almost perfections) happened when my team is winning. That’s pretty awesome that OP still went 15/0 while his team was being outslayed though!
Now that you know what to get it in im sure youll get it again good luck dude!

Strange…I got a Perfection in Super Fiesta many months ago. I saw it with my own eyes too.
Did they change the criteria or something? It’s kinda odd that they’d overlook 15-0 performances in Slayer-based gamemodes like Super Fiesta. Just my thoughts.

You can get a perfection in FFA slayer.
only in slayer bud if you really want it play break out or swat
BTB is your best option for get perfection

Winning the match is the 2nd requirement to earn the medal.
I think it’s normal that you did not receive the medal perfection.
