For non slayer games you should get perfection medal. I know a perfection in slayer is way harder and worth more. Maybe get a perfection medal for slayer and separate one for obhective games,

Why no?
In Breakout you can get a Perfect Round.
In strongholds and CTF a shutout could be a Perfection.
I’d love to dive into other Gametypes but we don’t have any 
There are different types.
For example, I have “Immortal” which is for surviving every round in a game of Breakout.

I’d just like to be able to see my medals in game.

Thats because your running riots have nothing to do with the objective, so why would they reward a medal for it? In slayer, it means something: Contributing to the objective(slaying) and not going the enemy team a single point. In strongholds, it just means you didn’t die.

As I said before there should be a separate perfection medal on objective game types. I know a pefection is worth less in an objective game but it still something hard and rare to achieve.
I hope 343 makes this litte change to get a 2nd kind of perfection in objective games.
