I had wanted to make a post about this a while ago, but kept forgetting to. I had a game of capture the flag where I went 21-0, but it didn’t count towards my perfection commendation. Does anyone know why it didn’t count? Seeings how it’s one of the harder commendations to rank up I’m a little annoyed that it didn’t count. The game did end in a tie, so is that why it didn’t count? If so that’s pretty lame. A perfection should count win, lose or tie. It still takes skill to get it, so you shouldn’t have to win. Thanks to anyone who sheds some light on this.

There is no perfection medal in H4.
Dunno if it’s the same for Halo 4 here but in the previous Halos the medal only counted on Slayer type matches, not any form of objective.
Much easier to go 15-0 on CTF than Slayer.
But that was the previous Halo games.

BTB isn’t skill either. 4v4 Slayer is the closest thing to a measure of skill Halo 4 can reach. Active Camo + Sniper =/= impressive.
Check the video of the perfection in my file share and tell me again that it didn’t take skill. For the first 3-4 minutes I had about 20 chances to die, but didn’t. Then I got in a mantis and went ape -Yoink- on everyone. People these days. In my book, any perfection is impressive, besides the ones where someone gets 15 kills, then camps until it’s over.

I would not even worry. Perfection is the dumbest and most pointless Commendation in Halo 4.
All it does is promote camping and zero teamwork.

Objective game types ARE skill. Everyone plays Slayer because it’s easy.

Is it just me or i dunno if that story was true then you would have at least 1 perfection but you don’t. looked at your service record. (no offence)
I got in BTB slayer 10 perfect matches so far and every time got a commendation perfection for it.
Im also not a camper because i tried of course everyone try’s but i didnt find a single spot where you could camp the entire match and just spot 15 enemies and shoot them very simpel and quick before they come hunting, im just trying to say camp or not camp this commendation is a bit of luck a bit of patience and a good load of skills.
I went 18-0 last night in CTF aswell and didn’t get it,
I actually ran back and forth the map from base to base defending and helping my team attack the objective aswell. ;(
but ah well, it doesn’t really mean anything
I just don’t get why they would remove the medal but keep the commendation.
I think it only count generic kills.
Soo if you have objective kill or sniper/rail/Binary/Beam/etc kills it won’t count I guess.

No those count but OP was playing CTF so that’s why he didn’t get a perfection.

You might want to check my service record again. Sure it’s only 1 perfection, but I did get one. 38-0. BTB. On meltdown. You have to remember the first rank on perfection only takes 1 to reach the novice rank. Then it takes 2 more to reach proficient. I only noticed someone camp after getting 15 kills once on exile. They got 15 kills with the gauss hog then hid in the base that blue team spawns in. He just hid in a corner.

Most are from BTB sniping and banshee, but I do have 2 in 4v4 Infinity Slayer. AKA like a boss, lol.
BTW Perfections only count in Slayer game types. ITS, BTB, Regicide, Flood, Snipers, Doubles, Multi-Team (Slayer of course), & Swat.

Its not skill when you stay behind and dont bother going after the objectives.
