It used to take 5 perfections for “Perfection - Novice”. Now it only takes 1. I just realized this last night after I got my very first Perfection in Halo 4 in Team Regicide. Anyone else notice this?
You know, there are some other commendations that could use a nerf as well… Executioner, Plasma Pistol, Pulse Grenade, Crawler Sniper, and Knight Commander commendations are just a few off the top of my head.
Perfection has always taken just one to level it up to 2/5. It takes 1, then 2, and then on until 5 to get 5/5.

I’ve been playing this game since it came out, and when I first looked at the Commendations it said “Perfection - Novice, 0/5”.
Pretty sure it only took me one to pass the first stage back at launch.
thats becuase you didnt get any. ints tier 0 of 5.
just like when you get one it will say 1/5

And it still says that for anyone who hasn’t yet gotten a perfection. The Commendation hasn’t been changed.

That means it’s at level 0/5. It takes 1 Perfection to level it up to 1/5. The number next to the bar is how many you need. The one next to the commendation level is just that, what level out of 5 it’s at. The commendation never changed.
It’s never changed since launch.
You’re referring to commendation tier 0/5 which you see when you haven’t progressed in the commendation at all. Above that, the requirement to complete the first commendation level (and hence reach tier 1 of 5) has always been just 1 perfection. Then it’s 2, 3, 4 and finally 5 to complete perfection mastery, meaning 15 in total.
I only have 1 so far.
As far as actually bringing down the requirements for some of the Commendations, I agree.
The Gravity Hammer could definitely do with being lowered, as could the Pulse Grenades and Plasma Pistol.
KILL people with a Plasma Pistol? There’s NO POINT TRYING to kill someone with one other than for this Commendation.
So silly 
There are more, I just focus on those.
I (Shadoureon) am at 4 perfections. Camping with the sniper + sniper ordnance on Ragnarok in BTB. I cant really see any other way of doing it with instant respawn in this game.
