In Halo 4, we are going to the Forerunner world of Requiem. What Forerunner installation would be complete without the first real Forerunner enemy we ever faced…Sentinels!
Now, Im not saying that they need a big part, but It WOULD be strange if they were missing. I mean it is the perfect scenario. ALSO the return of the Sentinel Beam is a definite need. It was the first Forerunner weapon we ever got to use, and to be honest, I dont think anyone really knew how powerful it truly was. It was basically an “all range” assault rifle. With a bit of tweaking, I think that it could be a worthy starting gun. We definitely need at least ONE Forerunner weapon that is one we can choose to start with, and why not the Sentinel Beam? It would be a PERFECT comeback for the Sentinels, and their Beams.
Also, if the Enforcer has the missile launchers on it (assuming its back) than it would be cool if in the event of destroying one, we could pick up and use that launcher much like we did with the common Sentinels and their Beams.
Im pretty sure sentinels are only on the Halo arrays…then again they have been seen on Onyx but who knows. Im sure the prometheans are enough as is, though i do miss these guys
I definitely want to see sentinels and even enforcers in Halo 4. Requiem is a shield world, and like onyx requiem should have sentinels. The sentinels defending onyx were much stronger than halo sentinels and made a big impression on the reader. If they are going to be in H4 they should fit Onyx’s sentinel description as their both shield worlds, for cannon’s sake. Of course there could be a canonical reason for them not being on requiem but I hope it’s good, I don’t want a sloppy reason for sentinels not being on a huge forerunner planet that is obviously of great importance to the forerunners.
