The title says it all. I can’t believe how often I get killed by a perfect kill or a headshot. How do people do it?! I’m lucky if I get one perfect kill for every 5 or so arena or war zone matches. What I would assume is one of the most difficult kills to pull off, is done to me every match, multiple times. How are people so accurate with precision weapons? I struggle to keep my reticule over a moving target yet players make it look so easy. What about you guys? Do you ever feel like you are playing against laser accurate machines? Any ways to improve my accuracy?
I played a lot of SWAT to get headshots and accuracy down. That is the best way for me to learn how because you get rewarded for being precious with your shots
Well, my accuracy went up 10% after I lowered my sensitivity. But I’ve always been able to hold my reticule on a player.
I use to have this problem. What I did, was change my controller settings, several times, until I felt comfortable with it. Then it came to me, with a lot of practice.
i don’t go for them, but enjoy when i get them
If you’re geting perfect killed ao often, try more evasive maneuvers that you still feel comfortable shooting during.

This. If I see my accuracy going down then I’ll usually jump into a few games of SWAT. That usually remedies my problems.
Try to just lower the amount of shots being put out. Think about where you place it. After awhile, it comes pretty quick. Sometimes it takes a 5th because idk the 4th shot from a BR didn’t land correctly. Practice it on AI enemies in the campaign too, especially when you have the skull that makes them dodge almost everything.
Playing Swat and practicing in custom games with others is likely your best bet
Not sure if there is really a technique to it, I have 154 with the battle rifle, 164 with the magnum, 28 with the dmr, 13 with the light rifle, 9 with the carbine, and 3 with the Halo CE pistol, and none of them were planned… Arguably the carbine one is the hardest to get, 9 shots without missing is rough, but definitely doable… Try aiming by strafing (left stick) and not so much with the right stick, or a subtle use of both at the same time
I still battle with my controller which is why for me.
No vibration. Wired controller. Not a high sensitivity. I play on 3. Stop pressing the trigger if your missing shots, get back on target then shoot.
Taller thumbsticks help quite a bit.
I think the receiver is the one that makes it simple, I just aim and pull the trigger 4 times.
I would recommend playing with your sensitivity.
lolz it is easy.
I never looked at it like going for perfect kills im just trying to kill as fast as i can just so happens perfect kills come long with that
Lower sensitivity to about 3 or 4 and put your acceleration to 2. Taller thumbsticks help too.
Also, DON’T panic when being fired upon but just continue to aim at the head of your opponent and shoot—so unless you are WAY far away, don’t use the smart-link zoom. Learn to set your reticle without it and keep it there since you will be knocked out of smart-link with the first hit from your opponent.
Panicking and losing your focus while under fire are two things that most people do that prevent perfect kills under pressure.
Also, practice and be patient!
There real easy when a player doesn’t move, or goes In a straight line, even at a slight angle.
My sensitivity.can be from 1 to 3 any given game
Swat makes for some good practice. Also I’ve noticed my accuracy went up when I turned off controller vibration, for some reason the haptic feedback would cause me to slightly panic whenever I got shot, if you get the first shot on the guy as long as you don’t panic and stay the course you shoot be able to beat him.
