So I know if you shoot someone 4 times in the body and once in the head it is a perfect. You can also land all 5 shots to the head for a perfect.
Where the perfect medal messes up is when you hit someone once in the head and then 3 to the body and finish with a head shot. I was playing a custom match to show a friend that you can shot someone 4 time in the body and once in the head for a perfect. Then he showed me that if you hit to the head once and the body 3 times and back to the head you won’t get the perfect. I then tried it my self. I’m pretty sure that this got over looked when putting in the perfect medal. 5 shots with the last one being a head shot should be a perfect.
Can we please get this fixed 343? Or respond with the reason why this why doesn’t work for a perfect.
I agree on that i tried as well in custom match making game and also in multi player. I also searches all possible videos on youtube and cant find answers from Halo 5 community players. 343 we would like you to look into this issue and release patch for it and give us broader explanation please.

Landing the last shot as a head shot take skill. That is why their is that reversal medal. I agree with making the last shot being a headshot.
I think a perfect is all headshots though…
nope, you can land 5 shots to the leg and final shot to the head for the Pistol Perfect.

Yes that is what I thought too. But try it out in a custom game where you can do 4 body and 1 head and you’ll see that you don’t need all head shots. I initially thought it was all head shots. But where it gets strange is not that 4 body+the final heads hot is a perfect kill, but that 1head,3body,then another headshot is NOT a perfect kill. That is the strange thing to me. I would love a further explanation from 343.

Tone is very important in writing and is something to be aware of
I was also giving you a hard time, joking, hence the smileys haha
I did little test today and came to conclusions that if u rapid fire for a headshot u get perfect kill. Thats my version. Im not a noob but i did that a few times and that made me think its the right anwser. I will test it again on BTB.
I’ve shot people at a really slow rate of fire and gotten perfects. Hard to describe but enough to be weird, like they run behind an obstacle and back out and I get it. So take your time and line it up. It helps when they are running away haha.
Perfect kills are earned when the most efficient kill possible is earned… If it takes you 5 bursts with a BR to kill, even if you hit every single bullet, that is NOT the most efficient kill.

BR is a 4 shot perfect.
