Perfect kills do not add toward Triple Doubles

I just confirmed this last match where I hit the very last normal headshot for a 2x3, where I had many Perfect kills already in stock. This might’ve been out there already but I wanted to point it out because I’ve never heard anyone mention this before.

Of course, there’s absolutely no reason perfects shouldn’t add up because they only take more skill than a headshots and they are headshots.
It’s also worth pointing out that I also had sniper headshots counted in too, and I don’t believe they added up either, but I’m not entirely sure about it. Might as well put that on the table anyway.

Love you guys <3

From what I noticed sometimes it counts and sometimes it doesn’t. I have learned not to count on it. If I get it, I get it, if I don’t oh well, time to move on.

Thats weird. They have counted for me in the past. I specifically remember one wza match on urban where I got a perfect and the tripple double medal popped.

The Triple Double medal is weird. I brought up the weirdness a few months ago in the support forum. I have plenty of games where I should have gotten it, but haven’t for some reason. I initially thought Perfect Kills didn’t factor into it, but they do… sometimes. To add to the weirdness, I’ve gotten a Triple Double after getting a normal kill. Getting the medal seems straightforward (double-digit kills, headshots, assists), but something-something weirdness.

I think for their programming perfect kills will only count when they are with certain weapons. You may notice that in Waypoint when you look at match stats it never shows kills you got with any of the newest weapons in the breakdown. This may be the same thing that happens when adding up for the triple double, I am not sure about this it is just a guess from other things that I have seen happen.

Whenever I get Triple-doubles the Perfects seem to be a part of it. (once i got 9 headshots and one perfect and I got it.)

I mean, I don’t usually get worked up over not attaining a medal. but I do believe that perfect kills should count as headshots
