Notes-Im sure you have used the smg and have realized its a 1up in damage and rate of fire BUT the pistol is at this lvl already.

Literally the strongest AR in any halo ever made its been made stronger given a longer range and even gets a headshot multiplier when using smart scope it has a 1.1 second TTK, I’m not quite sure how you think it’s under powered
the AR is fine and works well in its niche range and doesn’t work well outside of its niche range
and that goes for all the weapons
this is the best halo has ever been balanced if I can give 343 credit for anything at all its weapon balancing
Weapon balancing is probably the best thing 343 did in Halo 5. Short-medium range, the AR dominates. The storm rifle and SMG have higher damage, but are harder to hit at range and have smaller clips.

There are plenty of threads about people complaining the AR is overpowered. What kind of conclusion can we draw from this? Hint: When it comes to game balance, most people don’t have a clue what they’re talking about. If they are bad with a gun they say it is underpowered, if they are killed by a gun they say it is overpowered.
Learn how to play the game instead of asking for changes every time you don’t win.
Lol play a not 343i Halo and you know what a weak AR feels like.
Halo 4 AR was really strong.
Halo 2A AR was a little bit stronger.
Halo 5 AR is strong enough to take down a Banshee at medium range.
So never say again that the AR is underpowered!
