Does anyone know what percentage of players are in Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond and Onyx?
For EXAMPLE, a Diamond 4 in FFA is in the 83rd percentile (meaning only 17% are higher rank than Diamond 4). < This is just an example, not actual statistical data, which I am looking for
I’m not sure about current numbers, but in the past things were heavily skewed towards the higher ranks. I got Onyx in Swat. For some reason. Basically no one was in Bronze.
“Data is from players tracked on Halotracker, not all players who play halo.”
How does one get tracked on Halotracker? and how many play halo and are not tracked? I’m just wondering how skewed this data may or may not be. I read on there that it tracks ALL new players, so I don’t really understand what they mean

Im pretty sure just about everyone is tracked by Halotracker now. In order to be in their database a gamertag has to be searched on their website. Im pretty sure the site started to mine out everyone’s games though. As in if you signed up the site would look through your games and add everyone you played to the database. Then look through all the games of all those people etc, etc.
Somebody on Reddit took the data from the API a month ago and published it. The breakdown is here. It probably doesn’t cover all players, but the sample is large enough that it should be accurate percentage wise. It also doesn’t include unranked players which makes the data easier to read.
