People with their mics

Please after a long day at work I just want to come home and play Halo…I DON’T WANT TO HEAR your mom asking if you have done your homework or your Dad yelling to turn it down or some crappy music playing in the background. Thank you. What do you guys think or hate with people on their mics?

I know its frustrating, but their is always the mute button. I wish though that others, especially heavy -Yoinking!- breathers, should mute their mic though. I sympathize with you OP!

I agree. If you are not intending on actually talking then disconnect or turn your mic off because it is just irritating.

Heavy breathers are the worst

It is annoying but sometimes it’s funny to listen to random strangers. It’s like a daily soap podcast or something. I guess they sometimes don’t even know that their mic is on.

People that are chewing/eating/rustling food packets. drives me crazy. I wish you could mute people in the lobbies.

Just make a party, and set it to invite only. Once you do that, the chat will only be through the party.

‘Mute All’ is the best feature of Halo 5.

Usually those jerks are people with Kinect sensors that don’t understand that we can hear everything. We can hear the children that you neglect crying in the background, your Mom whooping your -Yoink- for not doing homework or your potato chips crunching crumbs all over the carpet you never vacuum.

Is there a way to not allow it to go through your tv? That’s my biggest issue.

That’s the -Yoinking!- worst thing ev0r!

That one guy that just grunts or coughs heavily every now and then. You’re playing a game and suddenly you just hear a really deep sniffle.

It’s extremely rare you come across anyone who actually wants to discuss strategy mid game or ask for help or just talk normally.

The main thing i hate about mic’s is when youre loading into a Warzone game and you hear some obnoxious guy even shouting overally loud or playing his awful music, but it gets worse when the person goes back into party chat so you are unaware who the individual with an IQ of 2 actually is. What a -Yoink!-, but yeah some people with their Mic’s need to sort themselves out or get curb stomped.

Well, that’s too bad but i guess some kids are like this. They shouldn’t play Halo or any other fps in the first place.

Nah bro, SQUEEKERS are the worst. Any little kid talking for that matter. If your voice is undeveloped and high pitched and ur obviously too young to be playing then you need to keep ur mouth shut.

I get a migraine every time

I keep the volume low, but I can still hear the other player’s talking, doesn’t seem to be a way to turn it off.

Just mute people

I have the exact opposite problem. Teammates are either in a party, or refuse to use their mic. I find that extremely frustrating when I am trying to play arena.

Yeah, shame we can’t mute them in the lobbies. I’ve yet to come across anyone who actually uses the mic to discuss strategy or to have an actual conversation. It can be quite funny sometimes though, when you hear somebody sing along to Taylor Swift or Carly Ray Jepsen.
