I have a friend who signed in a few days after last weekend’s flight, and with the update of anyone can join I feel it’s a bit odd he didn’t get any email today that said he could play this upcoming weekend. (He is a pc player) And I was just wondering if anyone knows if he will have a chance to get in?

I believe the open invite is for xbox only, and that pc players must still receive the invite directly or use a buddy code if they can get one.
Xbox Users who aren’t registered as Halo Insiders are welcome to use the Xbox Insider Hub on their console and pre-download the Infinite Tech preview without needing to sign up as an Insider (it’s still recommended to sign up, however).
For playing on PC this weekend, you’ll need to locate a friend code. Friend codes were sent to exiting Halo Insiders with active flight invitations. The code can be redeemed on Halo Waypoint and gives access to both Xbox and Steam
