Was your order cancelled too? Apparently this is happening to hundreds of other people, I just got off the phone with customer service hoping it was my card being declined, but I found out it’s a common problem that they are having with orders. The customer service rep escalated my claim, and they said to wait 24-48 hours while they get it resolved, and if they have to create a new order I’m afraid since it will be after release I won’t get the pulse skin they promised. I asked the rep if I would still get the skin, and they said they didn’t know.
Also I have another question, can you put the armor skins on any set of armor, or just the one they show? I’m having a hard time finding this info, I looked at the preorder bonus thread but couldn’t find it there. Also, are they visible in most playlists like Team Slayer, Big Team, etc? The reason I ask is because I guess I’m too impatient to wait for my microsoft order and I could save 20 bucks if I overnighted it from Amazon or bought it from gamestop.
While I agree with #firstworldproblems and how the sky isn’t going to fall over something as petty as this, it’s pretty disappointing as I kind of expected Microsoft of all people to be better at this sort of thing. In the past when I’ve preordered games and had them shipped, Amazon came through brilliantly, Gamestop was flawless, and even other smaller companies pulled through nicely. The fact that I’m paying $17 more than what I would have paid through Amazon or even Gamestop with the same overnight delivery, I would expect much better service. Boohoo I guess.

Strange… I just skimmed over a thread on here about it a few hours ago. I guess it is more widespread then.

Wait… How is yours shipped already? The rep I talked to said they aren’t shipping them until release day, and weren’t going to ship them out ahead of time like other companies. I guess that was false then?
just checked mine, seems as if mine was cancelled as well. oh wel i can just go buy it tomarrow no big deal. ive already got my armor skin thats to walmart. they were selling them for 37 cents.

Lucky! What about the skin code, did they email that to you yet? I imagine it won’t come until after it’s delivered since people preorder then cancel once they get the skin, that’s what I did with Gears of War 3 heh…

No, not yet. It says on my order that the skin and $25 store discount are due to be emailed out on the 9th.

I know… I didn’t know that until after the fact :(. It doesn’t bother me too much though. It is not worth $10 for me to call stupid MS Support to change it.

I pre-ordered Halo 4 Limited Edition on sept 1st (my mother bought it for me for my birthday) under my Microsoft Store account.
We all know that tomorrow is Halo 4’s world wide launch and i was gonna be getting mine along with everyone else tomorrow…

My mother spent $105.99 for my Limited Edition Pre-order…So Microsoft Sends me an email TODAY (THE DAY BFORE THE MIDNIGHT LAUNCH) STATING THAT THEY HAD AUTOMATICALLY CANCELLED MY PRE-ORDER… They have no idea why either.
I spent a total of 5 hours on the Phone today, with two supervisors and a few Customer support agents to see what happened… they could not give me a clear reason on what happened and they said that your pre-order was cancelled and because you bought your copy before they went out of stock, you will not be able to get a limited edition because they arent being made anymore
