People who have already played/seen the campaign..

Please: No spoilers.

I haven’t heard anything good about the campaign from people who’ve experienced the game, so I’ve gotta ask, without spoiling it…

How bad is it?

Talk about being a cup half empty kind of guy. Why must the campaign suck because you haven’t heard anything? I have read an article which makes the campaign sound like it is going to awesome it contains no spoilers either but the author says they intend to play though it multiple times game can’t suck that bad if people are willing to play through it more than once.

Read the post again, he has said that he hasn’t heard anything GOOD from the people that have been able to play the Campaign.

I gotta admit, I am curious too on hearing a bit of how people feel about the campaign, without spoiling.

This is a rediculous post

But has he specified that he’s heard bad things? Its sort of a loaded question coming out and saying “how bad is it.” Also I thought there was a review embargo so not sure how he’s heard whether its good or bad.

Um what? Gamespot just posted campaign impressions and they were really positive. The one halo guy there said it was the best halo campaign yet.

lol, “how bad is it?”

beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

ill let you know how good it is on Wednesday :stuck_out_tongue:

“I haven’t heard anything good about the campaign from people who’ve experienced the game” as said by OP. By implementing that adjective, it is then safe to assume that he has, in fact, read or listened to impressions about the campaign already.

And while there may be an embargo, when has that stopped anybody from posting comments here and there? I, personally, have been spoiled some details about the final level and some fates. I have also read, in these very forums, a couple of subtle comments by people who have played it and thought it didn’t live up to the “Hunt The Truth” hype train.

So, again, I am with OP.

Agree

I’d just like to clarify that I truly hope the game is really good, I do. But everything I’ve hear so far is negative. Here’s some examples:

There aren’t any actual spoilers, they just talk about quality. Stuck it under a spoiler tag to be safe.

“Blue Team and Osiris mission ratio is the least of everyone’s problem for the campaign. Next week will be interesting to see how 343 is gonna handle the backlash from the Halo community.”

“If you think the ratio of missions will cause backlash, wait until you see the plot.
It has nothing to do with any of the marketing for this game, nothing to do with any of the lore, it does NOT expand the universe like they said it would, and completely ruins established characters. This game is a train wreck.”

“I feel sorry for everyone else because they don’t know what they are walking into.”
“I could totally be off and everyone might like the campaign. Just for me this so stupid and think most people will feel the same way.”

Hey, if wanting to know if the game you’re getting is any good before you buy it is a ridiculous concept to you, then fair enough. But Destiny and Mass Effect 3 taught me the danger of blind optimism. But hey, more power to you.

Okay sure he says he hasn’t heard anything good, but if he is asking how bad the game is then he also can’t have heard anything bad either otherwise he wouldn’t need to ask the question, as he would already have his answer from those other people that the campaign is bad.

Yeah…erm…no.

That is exactly what I thought it would be… smh… so you’re saying that listening to these peoples post who haven’t experienced the game but instead saw a screenshot about the mission listing gave you the idea that they thought it was bad?

Those people just can’t get out of their chief cheerleading zone. Yeah I get it they want to play as chief more and blah blah but whatever.

Op play the game yourself and come up with your own opinion

It doesn’t once say they haven’t played the game.

And again, I’m sorry if trying to find opinions on a game before you buy it is a foreign concept to you. I call it an informed decision.

I know apparently what is supposed to happen so without actually spoiling anything as such though I will put it in tags just incase think

The MatrixThe way the campaign has been spoiled though is really simplified so until you play it and see how it unfolds you can’t really judge off the poor description and spoilers people have given so far. You are going to need to experience the game for yourself and make up your own mind or wait until you actually see real reviews.

I never said it was a foreign concept… I usually go on my thoughts about what I think about a game I don’t need other peoples opinions to help me decide… frankly because I don’t care about other people opinions.

Anyway now I’m curious what are some other examples you’ve seen?

For the love of… get down of the blind hype train, people, that’s what is killing the game industry.

We are not talking about Chief-cheerleading, we are not upset by the list of missions, we are just concerned by the fact that we have not come across many positive opinions by those who have played the campaign, embargo or not!

For example, one of the many negative opinions I have come across in this very forum went along the lines of “The ads are misleading, there’s no element of “Hunt The Truth” or even Chief being a traitor even mentioned in-game. The story doesn’t have anything to do with what has been stablished in previous games and the main antagonistic element seems to come from left field.”

How how do we even know that this person has actually played the game? For all we know he could be messing with us. Not your fault OP but I’m just saying, take all this stuff with a grain of salt. We have no idea if this person is lying or telling the truth.

I don’t get “hyped” for anything that’s a term used for people who blindly buy into anything as fast as they can get it. I’m the see it for myself guy so even if lots of others say something is bad or misleading I won’t know until I make that conclusion myself after I’ve seen it for myself.

Is that such a hard concept to you people? Why do so many people lack strong self confidence? It’s ridiculous

Anyway op more examples please I’m curious?
