I am glad people who DNF from games a lot get long bans, I myself never rage quit from games I just slug it out even when it’s all going to turd around me but I am really glad they do. Sorry just wanted to rant how I feel about that not being salty or anything just annoyed with all the DNF as of late as it kinda bugs me :).
I am also glad so many banns have been going out lately for all the quitters. The person that quit almost 300 games is just absolutely mind blowing to me. I am even more shocked they just now finally got banned. Kids that quit that much should indeed be banned a long time.
I agree, and then they come on here expecting sympathy from us when we can just look at there stats XD

That’s exactly what I do when I play in matchmaking.
while i myself don’t quit and also disapprove of ‘quitters’ in general, mind you a good portion of those would be regular Disconnects, and also keep in mind that players in EU have to often put up with incredibly bad ‘latency’ (due to being connected to US servers), and it can be so bad you literally can’t get kills, so some of it might be annoyed EU players who don’t want to hurt their K/D
again, in general i do agree with you, just know there’s more to it than plain ‘rage-quitting’ (;

In some cases you could tell just by the stats if they are rage quits or disconnects.
I have some rage/frustation quits (probably in West Coast USA servers ^.^) but I agree with bann hammer 100%. Since 343 launched their Victory Daily pack quitters are a plague in TS or Breakout.

i see where you coming from - but i myself live in EU, and trust me, there are games where i go 0-15 ONLY because my shots don’t register, like, literally emptying a clip from Magnum into a guy only to see him charge me and shotgun me down while i sit speechless in pure amazement
…but then again - like i said, i wouldn’t quit even so, i still get some assists and at least do my best to help teammates by weakening the opponents

Had a recent game where my friend and I were beating the enemy team really badly and all of a sudden two of them quit cause they were losing, so I ran through the whole map trying to find the last two to finish the game quickly so none of us had to put up with the pain cause it hurts me watching others get destroyed because of salty players. After we finished the game I sent them both “Sorry bout that :(” cause it sucks when you’re in that position.
Though my last game of the night was pretty brutal for the other team, but I congratulate them on sticking with it all the way through!

I feel sorry for the enemy team too when they lose members, especially their best, and have to face the onslaught of 4 players who control map dominance basically.
And Disconnects are annoying, I hate seeing the glaring DNF on my service record >:c

When I see an enemy team down like that I also feel bad. I have been known to even let the enemy team win because of this. In fact my friend did this last night in Arena. The team they were playing dropped 2 players so he and his team let the other team win.
I think In the 500+ games I’ve had to leave two due to EXTREME lag where I was moonwalking all over the place & one last night where my latency was north of 300ml & I will admit I just raged out.
What makes it more annoying is being put on American server with some American 18 year old Bro players who all think they are halo gods but weren’t older enough to play the first halo, I end up getting crucified because it has connected me to the west coast & I live in the UK, I’m unable to trade shots, they keeps screaming up me to stay alive, while they aggressively push spawns leaving me exposed & open to get -Yoink- on.
I’ve a few times been that guy has “let the team down” it’s will come as no shock that I’m the only brit in a game full of Americans either ranked diamond or onyx so they at least have thumbs.
Though I do stick it out but please if your an American & you see some one getting absolutely -Yoink- on who is of the same rank please take a minute before you decide to berate them into oblivion that quite possibly they are some poor European stuck on a north American server.

I really think that instead of negative punishment to prevent quitters an alternate option to help quitters would be better. I mean look at movie Piracy (this is relevant trust me), it was big here for a while until the Australian release of Netflix and competitor companies which significantly reduced piracy. An equivalent for quitters really seems like a good option.
