is halo reach becoming armor lock now? it makes me so angry
Been like that since September 14th 2010.
Before then, if you count the Beta. I usually just play SWAT and BTB. BTB has armor lock, but it’s not nearly so common.

As I see it, if they can do it, you can do it also.
There are ways to beat Armour lock.
Wait a few seconds - chuck grenade.
Keep spamming with bullets and get a team mate to join in.
IMO, AL is a cheat. 360 degree view, move out in any direction you’re facing. See behind walls in the third person view. It was more fun with Vanilla though.

Just deal with it. Beside it’s part of the game there’s really nothing you can do about it and I’m pretty sure there where some gametypes that don’t have armor lock in them. Otherwise if your complaining about armor lock being in Big Team that’s alright with all the vehicles just stay back and wait for them to get out. Alot of people use the armorlock to cheat there way to a positive K/D hoping there friends will come and save them or to get a perfection, especially with all those vechiles in Big Team it’s not possible unless your team is really good. Armor Lock should be in Big Team ONLY!!! No other Gametype.

It is stupid. I agree wholeheartedly. But if you can’t beat them, join them. :[
I guess you just have to sit back and spam grenades and hope they change tactics and AA.
Maybe try hologram? Confuse the opponent?

I know what you mean. Recently there are soooooo much more armour lockers than usual.

Not true, I for one got most of my perfection medals with the sprint ability… some with jet pack or hologram… and very few with armor ability. I normally don’t even use it, only when I get killed by a ghost, then I get pissed, chose AB and destroy that damn ghost :). And as someone said, just wait, crouch and count like 4,5 seconds and throw grenades, and pin him down with the assault rifle or DMR…

Same here. I’ve only used it online a handful of times myself, and that was only to get an achievement…
But some times it can be a pain in the -Yoink-…

Wel then. I want your MM games. I don’t mind some AL’ing but whole teams using it to lock down in the hallway when there’s no one else around gets really old, really fast. And 15 minutes of that is even more annoying. I see it all.the.freaking.time. in Team Slayer. Clearly I am not as lucky as you!
