People taking advantage of the no betrayal booting in Infection playlists to troll.

I’m sure you are aware that betrayal booting is disabled in Infection gametypes because of a “common” glitch. It was shut off because many people were complaining about the glitch where if one kills a zombie immediately after being infected (kill from the grave), it is counted as a betrayal. Betrayal booting was shut off, and now people are being trolls and using it to grief people. I can’t count the number of times some -Yoink- on my own team has betrayed me for no reason in Infection. This needs to be fixed. The glitch isn’t all that bad, and just like all other playlists with betrayal booting, you have to use logic as to whether the person deserves it or not. We need to bring this to 343’s attention. Thank you for your time.

Erm…Yes it was that bad and then some…What’s worse, bieng killed by a griefer, or bieng booted off by one?

Agreed it was a bad move on Bungie’s part, removing friendly fire could have also been an alternative until the problem was fixed.

However, I am going to assume they will fix this in the Title Update and then re-enable Betrayal Booting.

That is why I don’t play in the infection playlists anymore. (That and the problem of no custom maps)

Why didn’t I think of that suggestion!? XD

Anyways, yeah, they should just do that, or just turn off friendly fire all together in EVERY playlist.

avoid them? the only way they can really betray is if your camping, cause if your on the move you can just sprint away, also, i like staying in games
another thing, betrayals are just a free ammo top up to be honest

Disagreed on EVERY playlist, friendly fire is meant to give you a hint of, watch where you are throwing your stuff at.

And especially in Grifball, you could launch your team mate across the map who has the bomb and because you won’t betray them, instant bomb arm.

I was talking about the current problem of people betraying you for no reason, not the glitch caused by lag.

oh, whoops… i knew that… that could work, but not in every playlist, i dread to think what elite slayer will become

when a guy tries to push me up the lift in the tunnel or griefs me it makes a nice change to be able to shotgun him in the face, or back when the sword base ledge was still a problem it was good to go up there and betray all the noobs hiding up there ruining the game
