People selling low win rate warzone accounts?

I’m recently noticing lately people with low win rates like 35% win rate with many hundreds of warzone matches and have ridiculously good accuracy and carrying their team hard and win and have fantastic k+a:d ratios which doesn’t make sense. Like consistently getting 41 PvP kills per match and it’s making me wonder how if they’re that good why is their win rate so low. I’m talking people with sr148 and above.

Are people selling accounts to pros so they get easier opponents and match faster?

for a 5 year old game?..it’s super rare that I ever play WZ…but I can’t imagine someone selling an acct for this game. Maybe if someone wanted that armor so bad…they’d sell an acct that has it…but It’s hard to imagine people doing that for halo in 2020.

Especially consider that you can make your own alt acct…for free…smurf with it …derank with it…etc. so what is the purpose of what you’re saying? What do you get from that? I really only play the ranked playlists…but I imagine if a good player always plays alone but loves playing WZ, that could explain consistency in his own stats while still losing a majority of the matches.

Your last sentence makes no sense though…selling an acct to a pro…you mean a really good player right? Not an actual pro. What could a professional player possibly want an acct to play WZ for?

No — Matching doesn’t use win rate or k/d…it uses MMR and catches up to your actual skill very fast so even if you played on someone else’s account…the system would figure out your actual skill pretty quickly.

It’s likely they’re playing solo since you can easily lose and still get a lot kills. That’d be pretty sad if people were buying accounts for Warzone of all things.

Maybe even being that skilled in WZ has little effect when you get quick cored or farmed.

yeah but when I face these people they somehow end up owning game after game and someone like me with 54.7% win rate should not be struggling so hard against 35% win rate people with 52% accuracy.

its warzone if you play solo you can kill 50 and still lose, sometimes you can ignore spartans but if you kill all the bosses you win

Yeah but in this case they are getting 50 kills and winning, the same kind of people and they are solo, so how is their win rate so bad?

Can you link to some example games? I don’t see anything that fits what you describe here in your recent games.

And even if people were buying accounts for Warzone, the MMR catches up very quickly. It’s not like you could play 50 games of just dominating noobs until the Team Balancer starts compensating. From what Menke has indicated before its usually only a couple of games.

There’s also inconsistencies with the matching system in place (at least for Warzone) so I don’t trust Menke’s matching system AT ALL.

Search solo to find best available game in Warzone: Wait 20 minutes and you get a JIP where your team just got triple capped
Search with a team of 8: Instant match against brand spanking new players who have no clue.
Search with 2-3 players: times out after 4 minutes, then search solo and try to match: instant match, but then you get matched with the same 2-3 players you timed out with and they’re ON YOUR TEAM??? And against totally new players?
Search with a team of 5-6 at the same time another team of 5-6 is searching: match each other, but THEN THE GAME PUTS THE 2 TEAMS OF 6 TOGETHER ON THE SAME TEAM AGAINST RANDOMS.

What is this matching system in Wz?
