People quitting should NOT reset sprees

One of the most annoying things about Reach is getting huge sprees getting cut off because someone quits and host migration resets your spree and ignores the spree you were previously on!

I would have had many Running Riots and Rampages, but for my sprees getting cut by someone quitting and it resetting my spree. Anyone else fed up with this?

I feel that it undermines the skill being demonstrated by players in the game and reduces achievements to a fraction of what they are.

So instead of sprees of 15, you can be cut off at a spree of 9, and then continue a further 6, which would be a Running Riot, and then only get 2 killing sprees. I wonder which looks better?

I have had many Frenzies cut at 14 or so, and then get more kills resulting in less awesome medals, which makes me look worse than I am.

Is there anyone else out there fed up with this? It is really unfair to the player on the hauge spree, and it should not be the case that quitting [players (which tends to happen more when someone is on a huge spree due to them getting beaten up).

Surely this needs to get sorted out because otherise huge sprees are going to not get rewarded when they should!

you dont even know rage until you go 18/0 and the host switch was at 14 kills; cockblocking your perfection. Ive had it happen twice in snipes, once in slayer. But its NBD because perfections are so easy in this game with these long kill times.

That’s rough! But yeah Perfections are a bit easier, I have 5 and I wouldn’t rate myself as an awesome player, just benefit from spammers missing as I pace my shots, and hogging the power weapons

I had 4 in h3; 1 ranked, 3 social
in hr I have 20; 3 ranked, 17 social

umm perfections arn’t affected by people quiting and the host changes. You may not get the running riot, but you still get your perfection.

Back the the OP, I totaly agree. This is the most fustrating thing in this game. I am a pretty damn good player at SWAT (Yes SWAT takes skill) and an average game for me is 20-25 kills, but often I go 30-35 kills. Doing this I can get a lot of high sprees, but because I am totaly raping them, they decide to quit, and then my sprees are destroyed!

It totaly sucks, and needs to be fixed. I can’t believe this has been happening from Halo 3 and they still haven’t fixed it.

I got vids on file, it breaks the perfect if you get a host switch, its looking for a riot event though the medal says 15 without dying.

Why would you deserve a reward for getting it against an understaffed team?

Are you children so concerned about numbers and medals because you think they make you look better than you are?

Rank means nothing.
Medals and sprees in uneven matches mean nothing.
Being good at video games means nothing.

Any victory received against an understaffed opponent is a hollow victory… as are achievements and awards.

I was sooo close to an unfriggin believable in invasion matchmaking. When I was running and guning with the sniper, around my 35th somebody on the other team raged.

It was kinda like another time but instead of the other team raging,
they caught me with my back turned.

no matter what those were still good times :stuck_out_tongue:

It doesn’t come up at the end of the game that you got the perfection, but when you look at the medals and stuff after the game has ened you sure will see it there.

You being one of the rage quiting noobs that we rape means nothing.

LMAO… you’re obviously too dumb to realize that I’d have to give a damn about stats in order to rage and quit. Check my game history. I’ve yet to meet anyone good enough to get me to rage or quit, let alone some uneducated -Yoink- from Britain that can’t read and comprehend.

Nice try Fiona. I think Shrek is waiting for you back under the log you crawled out from under.
