I’m so tired of reading the complaints lol.
Can we at least make a thread saying what we like about halo 5?
I love strongholds. Better than any other territories game mode halo has had.
Breakout is OK. hit or miss.
Equal starts in arena makes me very happy. The game is very competitive and balanced.
Power weapons on map instead of the horrible weapon drop system of Halo 4.
I can’t imagine playing a halo without thruster pack now.
I love what they did with warzone. It’s the ultimate casual gametype imo.
I enjoy all the new spartan abilities, it gives people more ways to approach the game and breaks up the usual halo approach.
I aporeciate how many small things 343 has tweaked to improve the game since launch.
I actually enjoy the month to month updates. It makes it so there’s always something new to look forward to.
I have complaints and a wishlist too, but by and large I’ve been very satisfied with my H5 experience thus far.
I also love strongholds in Halo 5. I love all the Spartan abilities, Warzone and Arena, the REQ system, forge, and the free updates (yes free) When we bought Halo 5 we knew what we were getting. I have my share of complaints but I still love Halo 5.

> Why do you like Halo 5?
I like halo 5 because:
equal starts…but i never had a problem with halo 4 starts either. I like both equally
Sprint…I’ve always been a fan and always will
Movement system…it’s hard to go back to MCC
Breakout is amazing!!!
The req system is a good way to keep hooking players to just unlock one more req pack…and then its another. I love it.
Blue Team is there! Enough said
Arbiter is back! Enough said!
Buck is back! Refer to explanation in #5 and #6
I liked the Warden Eternal’s character. I hope he returns.
Not all is good though and people have a right to complain. These are my complaints:
No firefight. I’m not talking about PvE warzone. No. That’d be garbage. It would never work. Any more than 4 players would break the game with the amount of enemies they would have to put in in PvE warzone.
Warzone is TOTAL TRASH!!! Not a good enough replacement for firefight or even spartan ops
3)No spartan ops…Spartan ops gave halo 4 a good feel in my opinion. It was a story based PvE mode and it expanded upon the ever growing Halo Universe
Remixed Maps. They are too similar to the originals IMO…but they really look nice visually
The story…Halo 5 had a good story, but it was poorly told IMO. It was too short. There were like 4 missions where you do nothing! Cutscenes were short and some felt out of place. The trailers all lied to us. Locke and chief fight but it was never a to the death fight like in the live action trailers.
The prometheans in halo 5 are basically halo 4 prometheans. Here me out here. The promethean soldiers are just the knights from halo 4. The normal soldier is the normal knight in halo 4. The soldier sniper is just the knight lancer from halo 4. The turret soldier is just the knight commander from halo 4. The scattershot variant is just the knight battlewagon from halo 4. All 343i did was really add a buffed version of the knight into halo 5 along with the warden eternal. For god sake, they even took out the crawler sniper!

Actually, no. 343i has been making a lot of wrong moves with the franchise of Halo, so many I probably couldn’t list them all with the character limit per post.
No don’t get me wrong, Halo 4 and 5 are not bad games. I actually like a lot of the stuff in Halo 5. But I’m more disappointed than happy.
And if you think I’m just ranting, HaloFollower stated that Halo Reach had a larger active population than Halo 4 did only after 3 days of Halo 4’s release. And Halo Reach also had a higher population than Halo 5 after 2 months of Halo 5’s release. Now… I searched for sources to confirm this, but I couldn’t find anything. But that also makes me suspicious, as the technology is out there. Microsoft has these statistics. So why aren’t they out there?
Anyways, I’m also polite enough to state that this is only my opinion. 343i is definitely not capable of reaching the bar that Bungie set in the previous Halo titles.

Um no, u people go overboard with complaining. Its fine to give constructive criticism, but then there are people endlessly bashing the game because they have no life.

Then there’s people who refuse to admit this game has flaws

Bungie.net was also a complain fest through the launches of Halo 3 and Reach. It’s nothing new to a Halo game, which is kinda sad.
people have hated halo online since halo 2 (which is apparently what everyone wants halo 5 to become again… even if it did, people would still come here to hate on it)
