… about the similarities of this game and Call of Duty. As far as I can tell, the fifteen or so 10-15 year old boys who were purchasing Ops at GameStop with their parents as I swapped my copy of halo 4 for another is the only thing that should matter. For once in my time gaming I don’t have to constantly listen to those children rage over being killed by an OP weapon… oh wait I get to listen to grown men (and still a few small children) complain about the DMR, custom games, forge, loadouts, playlists, hit boxes, grenades, their virginity, ragnarok, spartan ops sucking… the list can go on and on.
Since there is so much complaining, hell even I’ll join in!
I have had this game for 8 days. In the first 2 days I was only able to play 2 mm games because I have no idea why. In that time, I beat the campaign and attempted to play spartan ops without any luck. On the third day I started to be able to play some real matchmaking, but to this day I can only play ragnarok, exile, haven, longbow, and solace. Since beating the campaign the first time, I played through on legendary, but even that is being affected by whatever my console is -Yoink!- at me, and I cannot play 2 of the missions. Of the current 10 SO missions, I can only play one. Why do you guys hate it so much? to me that one level was a blast.
Now was that a misleading thread title or what? Before anyone replies, the reason I was at GameStop yesterday was to see if I had a bad copy of halo 4, which I didn’t. according to the sticky thread “issues being investigated” this is not just my problem, as 343 requested anyone who had this issue to give them their console info. If you do reply with something like “I’m playing just fine” im happy for you, but saying “buy a new xbox” is unarguably the dumbest thing to say, as people who don’t live with their parents would know, I have rent, college, and a girlfriend who all expect me to spend thousands of dollars on.
Now my demands that I receive since everyone on this forum is making one: I want compensation for so far a wasted $45. simple enough, i want xbox live, I want one of the map packs for free, if 343 made exclusive dev armor I want that. I don’t really care what it is, this is a major problem of yours 343/microsoft, not mine, and as of writing this I spent $65 for a retail game and am getting a 1200 msp arcade game with pretty graphics. somebody needs to make it up to me and the rest who can’t enjoy the newest installment of, in my opinion, the best game out there.
but seriously though, start thanking call of duty for taking away most of the plague that is the always screaming child. wonder if I’ll get banned for saying virginity?
