People not choosing a new specialization?

I’ve seen 2 people at SR-120 and 1 at SR-100. My question is, WHY would someone not enlist in a new specialization?

Some of them arint really usefull in the end so im sure some players have saved the ones why wont use till the end.

Well the number doesn’t change. I know that much. Does it put something besides SR by your number though if you’re in a specialization?

And you can switch back you know, but you still have the perks. So I could switch from Wetworks or Operator back to whatever the default is called (Spartan?) if I wanted to.

You cannot change specs once one is chosen. Being specced automatically puts you at +1 level (ie new spec = 51/61/71 etc)
