All I ever see on these forums or any for that matter are people complaining. Especially on these forums I am seeing immature people trying to convince us that “deep down we know the game is total rubbish” and that anybody who refutes their opinions that they so vehemently sell off as facts is deemed a blind fanboy who can go yoink himself as I have seen it put many times. Forumers it is time to silence these people and speak for ourselves. These people act as if they are the ministers of the word of the community and that they cannot possibly be wrong. Please fellow forumers take a stand against these people and don’t allow them to continue putting words in your mouths. If enough of these threads are allowed to survive then 343 will listen to them thinking it is the will of the community. Silence them so that 343 doesn’t gather a list of changes based on the butt hurt lovers of Halo 2 and 3 that cannot move on and accept change. In fact they should make a phobia for people like them defined as the fear of change. It seems to me like gaming communities are turning into nothing more than people stuck in the past unable to move on from previous titles.
All I am asking is that people allow one another to speak for themselves. If ever we are going to come up with a proper list for 343 on things truly needing fixing then the halo 4 is perfect side and the halo 4 sucks side need to open up a bit and listen to one another. I don’t want to hate on anybody and I am sorry for the unedited post. I the halo 4 is perfect side needs to open up a little bit because no game is perfect and Halo 4 has its flaws but is by no means a terrible game. The Halo 4 sucks side needs to open up and try and find some middle ground and perhaps try narrowing down what needs to be fixed because there are a lot of good things in the game and there are some things that need tweaking in terms of balance and flow. Please just work with each other.
So you have no more of an opinion than us and everyone has the right to an opinion; yet you are calling on people to silence our opinions as they do not matter as much as yours?
Lmao I just posted practically the same thread. A sellout aye? Never thought of it that way. But I feel more like Bungie sold us out in Reach so I don’t feel like a sellout.
I am saying they can have their opinion but they have no right to speak for us in their opinions. If they dislike the game let them say it, but do not let them say things like all of the community dislikes it. If somebody likes the game let them have their opinion. Speak as a individual not as if you are the embodiment of all the forumers opinions.

Thank you groggydeadsloth. I am asking people to silence the preachers on the forums that believe they know the will of the whole of the forums. Regrettably these people are who 343 will listen to because they have the loudest mouths and create a false lie of stating the opinions of the whole of the forum. If people on the forum make it appear that way then 343 will see it that way and potentially make poor changes instead of good changes to things that do need tweaks.

IMO What Halo needs is for the community to be split, compensated for individually (in specific playlists) and then joined back together in one game.
I listen to those who actually are trying to contribute. I been agreeing to stuff on the other side on things like weapon balance and vehicle balance. But when people sit there and load the forums with we want a halo 2 from halo 4 I will not listen to them. We need to move on from the past and work on what we have before us.

What Halo needs is for both sides to compromise. Splitting the community would never be smart.

You think that balance is on ‘the other side’ (The Dark Side!)? That’s just basic game quality and is not specifically competitive. I really don’t think you understand what the competitive community even wants. I think you’re just speaking for us - odd, that statement sounds familiar…?
Anyway if you want people to believe that you are willing to listen to both sides you will need to change your post OP, as right now you are just coming across as a gamer undergoing a tantrum. Be mature and then people might listen.
There are always two sides to a battle, and yeah a compromise is needed, but asking for past iterations and stating that every piece of the game down to the last pixel on the halo 4 sucks side doesn’t make people want to compromise much when that side seems to want nothing more than to strip halo 4 into a halo 2 remake.

No it would be. Why force two sides who clearly have different needs/wants together? Lets just have a competitive section in Halo 4 (focusing around skill and classic gameplay) and a casual/loadout section in Halo 4 for those who don’t play to win. Then ship both sections in one game and job done! Casuals debate about the casual section and vice versa.
Halo 4 is a good game better than reach and reach was better than 3 and so on. granted there are some tweeks to be made which would be nice and i think that 343 will make those changes very soon. maybe next week when the dlc comes out who knows but hopefully soon. I think that the classes are nice to have and being able to customize your own class i give 343 kudos for doing this. I do think they need to get the fileshare system up and going correctly and the forge world maps they need to make playable as well. As far as forge goes my opinion is they should give more options as far as it is concerned. But for the love of god please dont make it like halo 3 i think they blended halo 3 and reach together very well.
