SO im a pretty competitive player. i am in onyx 1600 for swat. or rather i was until yesterday i noticed my rank starts to go down when i lose, fair enough right? well when people leave the game and make it impossible to win and they get no punishment. i know people leave the game and dont get banned even though it is in your “rules” to ban them from arena games for a certain ammount of time. i feel the punishment should be much easier to get, if you leave a game just because you’re losing i feel as if you should be banned and shouldnt be able to play that game type anymore for at least a full day. i can understand disconnects, but this is just ridiculous. more than a few times within just the past few days ive dropped over 75 rank because im the only one left on my team playing against 4 please do something about this
I guess from what I read 343 stated that you aren’t slammed with penalties as bad for sticking in there when your teammates quit.
I think at least some of the “quitting” problem has to do with the multiplayer disconnect issues people are having. My guess is, someone gets dropped, then it’s 4 on 3. The team of 3 starts to lose, and someone else quits because its an unfair losing game. The cascade goes on like that.
I am one of the people suffering from lots of random disconnects. I don’t mean to do it, I never quit games on purpose. But I’ve already been banned for it, and making the quitting penalty worse would make it even harder for people like me to play, and this already unfair system to me would be even more so.
i feel like the system is unfair in the sense of A) people leave wihtout getting banned
B) ill play games where its 4 people in gold vs 4 people in onyx 1600+
the arena game system is completely and utterly unfair
I’ve been stuck at Platinum 4 or 5 because of this stupid issue. It’s frustrating because my K/DA has dropped from 4.6 to 3.5 in two days playing Arena.
Thats why a try to play mostly with my team or else many people quit

For first violation you get 30min ban so only reason you could do that and don’t care is that you really need to stop playing and go somewhere right away. And the more you do this during a certain time, the longer ban you will get. Could be something like this: 1st violation = 30min ban | 2nd violation = 2h ban | 3rd violation = 12h ban | 4th violation = 48h ban. The violations could be count per week or something. Think this could limit the trolls and such pretty good.
