When I’m in a competitive match and someone leaves, does it still count toward my rank? It’s so annoying when people leave and therefore dooming us to lose. I played a game of breakout where 2 people left my team and we lost. Make it so that way when someone leaves it doesn’t count.
I wish they would make quitting equivalent to a loss for the quitter. A lot of people leave because they don’t want to have a lost game on their record.

A DNF does count as a loss. Functionally, at least. The first person to quit loses the maximum amount of rank for leaving a game, more than they would if they stuck it out and lost. On their game history it will say “DNF” instead of “Defeat”, but if you ask me that’s worse because DNF marks them as a quitter and all the negative associations that come with being a quitter. Also quitters can get banned if they do it enough, so that part is also worse than losing.
There is the “soft forfeit” feature in effect now where after someone else on your team has already quit, you can quit too without worrying about a ban (you still get a DNF on your record and lose rank, though).
