It is just a game. If you don’t like what’s in the game, play something else. It’s not that hard. I am tired of hearing people rant and rage that the game is “full of -yoink-” or the classic “should have been at launch” or even "this is the worst Halo yet. IT"S JUST A VIDEO GAME! I mean, seriously. If you own an XBox 1, chances are, you have another game. Play it instead of complaining that something you are not forced to do is inadequate, should have more should have less, or whatever else it is you have to say bad about the game is. That’s all it is. A GAME! If you don’t like Halo 5, don’t play it.
That’s all I have to say. Rant over.
P.S., don’t bother responding to me personally, I will probably never look at this thread again.
won’t look at this thread again because you know people will counter your argument with things that actually make sense.
“if you don’t like it don’t play it” lol you can still like a game and hate certain aspects of it or hate what the dev is doing to one of the greatest franchises in gaming.
i admit there are times where i just HATE halo 5 with a burning passion but then i cool down and realize that i still LOVE halo and love to play halo 5.
i don’t even care that much about there not being infection from the beginning or about the req system but atleast i understand what people are going through
I agree. Its the older fans that want the old Halo back. If this did happen Halo would die
i agree as well if you dont like it then shove off

So people should play a game they don’t like?..
I don’t like Halo 5. I stopped playing it.
Not giving something your time/effort/money says more than ranting on the forums about what something should be while still playing a title you dislike.

Very true all the Haters need to leave so that we as a community can come together again. It’s pretty hard when the very vocal minority is loud and making no sense with most of what they post.
Sounds familiar wanting to silence people for their veiws. Yes there is a ton of hate but just because people are passionate about halo and not liking the way it is trending doesn’t mean they should leave. There are things about halo 5 i love and things i hate. Just because someone is complaining about one thing or another means they hate halo.
Halo 5, despite its flaws, is still more fun to play than other Xbox 1 games. Let’s see um Division cough cough.

The entire point of the forums is for member of the community (Paying customers) to express their opinions and feelings about the game (product they bought.) We are here because we love to some degree and we care about what happens to it. We may disagree about the best direction for halo to go in, but that doesn’t change the fact that we all want halo to be better than it is. In addition the forums can act as free market research for 343 and bungie before them. We are in the minority of those playing Halo that find their way here, but what we are passionate about other people are passionate about. Telling people not to play the game is not helpful. The fact that they’ve made it here means they are more passionate than most and have every right to complain, state their feelings, and make suggestions about how Halo should be in their eyes. This is even more fruitless when the complaints are vaild. This is going to come as a shock to you I know, but you’re the one who chooses to read the ‘negative’ comments and you’re the one who created a pointless post complaining about other peoples’ opinions. If you don’t want to read those threads, you don’t have too. You have that option. As to why I’m ignoring your postscript, well I assume shaker’s law is in effect.
TL;DR: One for the hypocrisy counter.

This game is fun as hell.

Trust me, most of the older fans are cool with this direction, we have played the old games enough and want something new. It’s the people that claim to be older fans because they played halo reach or MCC that are whining about how the game evolving is a bad thing. (Tbh I think most of these reactionaries/conservatives are actually just little kids)

If everyone that tries to critique halo and simply make it better left there would be a very long matchmaking setup time just so you know because there are a lot of people that like and dislike the game and can see the potential in it. Halo could have and still can be a much better game. Please don’t try to shut those who wish for a better experiance for us all out.

You stopped playing for a week, and seeing as you’re lurking the forums you’ll likely play again this week, you can say you stopped but it’s blatantly obvious that you didn’t. I can’t say I’ve stopped but that last time I played a game was longer ago than you.
(Btw who wastes over a week of gameplay on a game they supposedly hate?)

Not sure if you’re living under a rock or not but there certainly is infection in Halo 5.

i know. i mean there not being infection in the beginning.
“IT’S JUST A GAME!”
Yet here you are spending your time on a forum for some game. How is that better for something that doesn’t matter?
If you do want to reply to any of the posts here or engage in the discussion OP, then send me a PM and I’ll re-open the topic for you. We want to promote discussion here on the forums, what we don’t want is a dumping ground for rants where posters have no interest in what others have to say. If you want to do that then you might be better starting a blog or something similar.
