Twice now in the past 4 days in warzone, I’ve been in a fire-team when one player in my fire-team has been slotted in on the opposing side for one game. Both times we have all been waiting in the lobby, then the game loads, one person is now playing against us! However they are still listed as being in the fire-team when you check on it. Are we just special or what?
So I can frame the issue in my mind better, please tell me the following:
- what was the size of your fireteams in these situations? - did the WZ games start with the full 24 players? - was it the same player both times or a different one who got moved to the other team?
both the fireteams were 3 players
the first time it happened we went in 2 short but im not sure about the 2nd time, wasnt looking
different players, but both times they had joined the team while 2 of us were finishing up a previous game
I remember for awhile Halo MCC had this problem where fireteams were getting split onto opposing teams. I had not heard of nor seen this happen in Halo 5. My only guess is a configuration error on the Warzone list side of things. I don’t play warzone at all really and have never seen this in Arena matchmaking.
