I made accounts on multiple forums,and it looked like that almost everyone there are just trolls,haters or bloodlusted kids.
while most of the guys here on Halo Waypoint are usually very polite,cool and funny.
Okay,it’s possible to see trolls around here,but they are quite funnier than trolls that aren’t from here.
And,the Forum may have it’s problems,but for me it’s still the best online forum nowadays.
I don’t know if you agree with me or simply don’t give a -Yoink- that I see Halo Waypoint this way.
But all I have to say is,congratulations to everyone here,and always keep up the good work

Welcome to waypoint but I’ll be the one to say it these people will try to break you with the constant complaints and ignorance so stay strong spartan.
While no web community is perfect, I have found this one to be much better than average, and I primarily credit it to the hard work of the moderators (shameless brown nosing attempt haha) who simply don’t tolerate “mean” people on here i.e. insulting and namecalling, as well also in part to the profanity filters. (Not trying to sound like a prude there, of course I curse in real life sometimes, but it’s nice to not hear it nonstop all the time.)
As far as the general tone of negativity when Halo 5 came out, it worried me a little at first too, like worried me for the future of Halo, and I should point out that I’m very new here, only joined a couple months ago. But after a little while I noticed that all the people who are either moderators or Spartan rank, were not worried about it at all. They were all here for the releases of the other games and it’s always been like this - the new game comes out with new features that change some core gameplay mechanics as well as an unexpected storyline change, and people initially are outraged, but eventually the game becomes a classic and we wonder how we ever lived without it. So, if they’re not worried, I’ll try not to worry either.
The community creation section is the best, just a bunch of passionate players. The Halo 5 section is mostly just complaining. Still better than most I suppose.
The trending topics are usually complaint threads 95% of the time, but that’s not reflective of the community as a whole. Welcome to Waypoint - hope you enjoy your stay!

Yep. General Discussion wasn’t bad, but ever since H5 has came out some complaints have moved over here. It’s still not terrible, but it isn’t as good as it has been.

The halo community is one of the best ones out there
We all have our moments on the proverbial Soapbox, but as a Community we do tend to be quite chilled and welcoming. Glad you found an internet home for Halo amongst us.
(PS: Thanks for using that Avatar picture matey, you’re the first I have seen apart from myself to use it! Was really happy 343 chose that from my repertoire of Halo 4 Screenshots.)

go make a visit to a forum called “Comicvine” and another called “Space Battles”,then come back here and complain about the Waypoint.
This Forum may not be perfect,but I assure it’s one of the best,if not the best Forum out there.
Just trust me,Waypoint is a heaven compared to these other forums…
Many interesting people and problem solvers here. Shame when trolls hit sites for no other reason than to complain. How petty their lives must be.
Forums like this are good for people with similar interests, and it allows you to voice your opinion, happy or not. Though I must admit some hang around here an awful lot and some of us just flutter in occasionally yet we all love Halo.
I love all the constructive criticism people are offering and the deep and introspective discussions we have.

The mods here do a great job at keeping the flame/attack threads low, and have directed the biggest issues (Splitscreen and Elites in MM) to one centralized thread, so it helps keep spam of those two topics low. (I just wouldn’t peek into those threads, there are some salty people who hang out there)
