I felt it’s my right to discuss the people going dark, seeing as it’s most likely the thread i made that’s causing it.
First off, there is
in the title for a reason, if you are here to avoid spoilers then simply don’t click on it.
Secondly, it’s not leaked content, 343 put it in the video purposely so people like me would see it, they put it there most likely to throw us off course, to make us think it’s a main part of the plot when it really isn’t.
So why did they put it in the vidoc if it’s not important?
To laugh at us as we overreact to an early version of a heavily modified script
To genuinely provide us with a sneak peek, just one into a scene that everyone assumes is plot-critical but is actually not
To divert attention to the Didact and prevent us from realizing that the Didact is only the pawn of something else
As for the Topic itself, we knew the Didact was going to be in the game since day 1, the fact that the script now CONFIRMS it is not a suprise nor is it a spoiler, interpret it how you want, but there were more spoilers in the e3 gameplay than there are in my thread.
Sorry if i’ve upset alot of people, but don’t be, there is no genuine spoilers in the thread, so don’t worry about what you’ve seen, i’m simply trying to use the information we have to try and create a better understanding for the game when i first play it through.

The thing is it’s not even a spoiler, if you actually followed the information you’d know that didact was basically confirmed in the game at e3, i can’t believe so many people are surprised and annoyed… we don’t know if he’s the enemy yet, we don’t know what didact it is, we don’t know ANYTHING people just don’t get it.

2: sometimes developers do dumb things…just look at ME3. Everyone thought the leaked endings were just a rough draft…Bioware proved them wrong.
People thought Bioware would actually listen to complaints after they market tested the ending…Bioware proved them wrong.

Moral of the story, never underestimate human stupidity, then again 343 has done nothing to suspect this yet

In all due respect it wasn’t smart to put {spoiler tag] followed by the spoiler. that was the issue since people saw it even when they didn’t click the thread or watch the video.

You aren’t being respectful to those that haven’t been following closely so they would be surprised. You can try to justify and rationalize it all you want but it doesn’t make sense to put the spoiler in the topic behind the spoiler tag. That was the issue, not every single person was aware of the Didact.
I’d rather know a bit about what I am investing my time and money in and know what to expect than investing time and money to only to be bitterly disappointed (then rant about it).

not every single person knew 300 was based on a real event and that those 300 Spartans died…I am not going to apologize because some people did not di their homework. This info was released by 343 it us NOT being removed by the staff so people should pull up their big boy/girl underwear and stop whining about others being disrespectful to them because they did not pay attention in the past/did not do their homework. Ignorance is not an excuse. And this was most definitely not even a real spoiler.
